As soon as it’s autumn I feel like snuggling into my coziest and hugest knit wear! And there is one piece I couldn’t live without at the moment: the cape! In this sense: ca(r)pe diem…!

During autumn I sometimes doubt the fact that I will survive temperatures in winter. I have to admit that I was already wearing my hugest oversized winter coat – And yes, it felt right! And I really try to be reasonable and to wait a bit longer before totally loosing myself in the biggest and coziest outerwear!
Still, there is no chance of getting my out of my beloved oversized knit pieces! Sweater, capes, ponchos and loops – there is just nothing that feels better right now! For today’s #WExAUTUMN look I combined a basic black pullover with a huge cape with graphic print, a grey skirt and a pair of my favorite overknees.

Manchmal frage ich mich im Herbst, wie ich temperaturtechnisch den Winter meistern soll. Denn ich muss gestehen, dass ich mich schon jetzt in der ersten Hälfte des Oktobers zu meiner aller, aller dicksten kuscheligsten Winterjacke gegriffen habe – und es fühlte sich gut und richtig an! 😉 Natürlich versuche ich vernünftig zu sein und mich jetzt nicht komplett dem Drang zum „Einmummeln“ nach zu geben!
Worauf ich aber schon jetzt nicht verzichten kann (und möchte!) sind warme, kuschelige, übergroße Knit-Teile! Pullover, Ponchos, Capes und Schals – ich kann nicht ohne. Und bei meinem heutigen #WExAUTUMN Outfit habe ich einen schwarzen Pullover mit einem großen Muster-Cape zu einem Muster-Rock und meinen heiß geliebten Overknees kombiniert.
Und da ich in den letzten Jahren jeden Herbst/Winter die schönsten Ponchos und Overknees in meiner Sammlung aufgenommen habe, freue ich mich auf die nächsten Wochen mit lauter herbstlichen Cosy Couture Looks!
