Procida dreaming | Procdida, Italy

When I think of the places that enchanted me the most during the last year, Santorini and Burano immediately come to mind. That is why I was so excited the first time I saw a picture of  P r o c i d a .

The small island looked nearly too beautiful to be real. The way the houses were carved into the cliffs reminded me of Santorini and the houses’ bright colors had images of Burano flash through my mind. Admittedly, by the end of our Italy trip we were a bit exhausted and we sat at a café in Naples and ate (rainbow-)cake before we made a rather quick stop at Procida. When we arrived on Procida I couldn’t believe my eyes. Procida was simply beautiful and looked like a place from a fairytale. Since by that time I had made it through just about all my clothes in my suitcase (yes, I only brought one, I was a bit proud ;)) I picked an off-shoulder top, my rainbow heels and a beautiful Midi skirt by Lisa Marie Fernandez that I intended to shoot for Net-A-Porter while being in Italy. When traveling, I always (!!!) bring my small Chloé Faye. It’s the one bag I love to wear for day trips. The size is just perfect and to me it’s one of the most beautiful bags I’ve ever seen. Wenn ich an Orte denke, die mich im vergangenen halben Jahr besonders verzaubert haben, dann denke ich sofort an Santorini und Burano. Umso begeisterter war ich als ich das erste Mal ein Bild von  P r o c i d a  sah. Die kleine Insel sah beinahe etwas unwirklich aus. Die in den Felsen gebauten Häuser erinnerten mich an Santorini und die leuchtenden Farben brachten direkt Erinnerungen an Burano vor mein inneres Auge. Da wir am Ende unseres Italientrips zugegeben schon etwas erschöpft waren, haben wir uns an unserem letzten Tag in Italien zunächst in ein Kaffee in Neapel gesetzt und (Regenbogen-)Kuchen gegessen, bevor es für einen eher kurzen Abstecher nach Procida ging. Auf der Insel angekommen konnte ich meinen Augen kaum trauen. Procidia war einfach wunderschön und hatte etwas märchenhaftes an sich. Da ich langsam am Limit meines Koffers angekommen war (ja, ich hatte nur einen dabei und bin etwas stolz ;)), habe ich zu einem schulterfreien Top, Regenbogen Heels und einem wunderschönen Midi Rock von Lisa Marie Fernandez gegriffen, den ich in Italien für Net-A-Porter fotografieren wollte. Außerdem habe ich meine geliebte kleine Chloé Faye kombiniert. Die kleine Faye ist wirklich immer in meinem Reisegepäck – Sie hat die perfekte Größe für einen Tagesausflug und ich liebe das Design noch immer wie am ersten Tag. 🙂 Die Tasche war durchgehend ausverkauft, grade gibt es sie aber in begrenzter Stückzahl bei Net-A-Porter: hier. Falls ihr auf einer Italienreise in der Nähe von Neapel unterwegs seit, kann ich euch einen kurzen Tagestrip nach Procida unbedingt empfehlen! xx Leonie

    Das “Kofferlimitproblem” kommt mir so bekannt vor;D Im Urlaub ist gefühlt jeder Ort und jedes noch so kleine Gässchen total fotogen und das muss natürlich ausgenutzt werden….
    Ich liebe Urlaub und Procdida sieht wirklich ganz besonders schön aus! Ich finde dafür, dass du bei deinem “Kofferlimit” angekommen bist, hast du das perfekte Outfit für Procdida zusammengestellt! Die leichten, sommerlichen Farben fügen ist traumhaft in das Dörfchen ein.

    Hach, so schöne Fotos! Das bringt mich direkt wieder in den Italien Urlaub zurück.
    Der Rock gefällt mir sehr gut und um die kleine Faye bag schleiche ich schon das ganze Jahr herum. Ich kann mich aber nicht für eine Farbe entscheiden bis jetzt. Sehr, sehr schön alles und Procida werden wir uns nächstes Jahr auch mal anschauen.

    I have been following you for quite some time on instagram and I’m happy that I finally took the time to check out your blog. I loooove your taste and I’m actually going to the Amalfi coast this summer sooo I just might have to add Procida into our itinerary! It looks absolutely gorgeous.
