No matter how adventurous one might be with regard to fashion and beauty, there are a few topics one shouldn’t leave to chance. For me that is the case when it comes to skin care.

Never before have I put my skin under as much stress as these past months. All the time that I spend in the sun, the frequent location and thus climate changes and, let’s face it, the everyday stress (as positive as it might me otherwise). I am sure most of you know the feeling when you leave the plane after a long distance flight and you feel exhausted through and through: your tummy hurts from the combination of air plane food and sitting crammed in your seat, the back aches because you’ve been sleeping with your head against the window all night, and your skin feels just as tired as you do and all dried up from the air conditioning. In those moments you are in desperate need of a trustworthy partner in skin care. Luckily, Vichy had invited me to Tegernsee about one year ago to introduce me to Slow Age (here). Slow Age (the links redirects you to the website of apo-rot, where you can shop the product online) is a day care that aims to prevent signs of skin aging rather than wait until it is “too late”. A year ago Slow Age was not on the market yet, but I was so hooked after using it a couple of times that I had to hold on tight to the tester I got at the Tegernsee until it was finally available in the stores. I’ve been using Slow Age for a year now and I must say I am a real fan! I don’t recommend beauty products often but I really love Slow Age for the way it makes my skin feel and for its practicability. The day care provides moisture immediately and I can wear it under my normal foundation. Especially when I am outside for a shooting all day in a sunny location, I love that Slow Age also protects my skin from the sunlight with its sun protection factor of 30. Today’s pictures were taken in a sunny location just like that and some of you might recognize the place because it is one of my favorites and I’ve been here before: the spa of La Mamounia (here). The spa reminds me of everything Slow Age stands for: freshness, positivity and most of all the feel of youthful, energized skin – something we all aspire to protect and keep for as long as possible. Egal wie abenteuerlustig man auch sonst bei Fashion und Beauty sein mag, es gibt ein paar Themen bei denen man kein Risiko eingehen möchte. Dazu gehört für mich auf jeden Fall die Hautpflege. Ich habe meine Haut wahrscheinlich noch nie so vielen Strapazen ausgesetzt wie in letzter Zeit. Die vielen Stunden und Tage in der Sonne, der ständige Orts- und somit Klimawechsel und natürlich der (wenn auch positive) Stress. Fast jeder kennt wohl das Gefühl, wenn man nach einem Langstreckenflug aus dem Flieger steigt und man sich durch und durch erschöpft fühlt: der Bauch tut weh vom krummen Sitzen, der Rücken vom Schlafen gegen das Fenster gelehnt und die Haut fühlt sich genauso müde wie man selbst und trocken von der Klimaanlage. Wie unsere Haut altert haben wir zum größten Teil selbst in der Hand und in der heutigen Zeit stellen die meisten von uns die Haut ganz schön auf die Probe. Da braucht man einen Beauty Partner, dem man wirklich vertraut. Zum Glück habe ich vor fast genau einem Jahr an einem Wochenende mit Vichy in Tegernsee

hier). Slow Age ist eine Tagespflege, deren Ansatz es ist Zeichen der Hautalterung zu vermeiden bevor sie entstehen und nicht erst abzuwarten bis es „zu spät“ ist. Vor einem Jahr war Slow Age noch nicht auf dem Markt, aber das Produkt hat mich tatsächlich so überzeugt, dass ich mich zunächst krampfhaft an des Tester, den ich in Tegernsee bekommen hatte, gekrallt habe, bis es Slow Age endlich in den Läden erhältlich gab. Ich mache nicht oft Beauty Produktempfehlungen, aber was mich an Slow Age so überzeugt, ist seine Praktikabilität und das kleine aber feine bisschen Extrakomfort im Alltag. Die Tagespflege verleiht direkt Feuchtigkeit und ein angenehmes Hautgefühl und lässt sich unter der Foundation auftragen. Insbesondere an sonnigen Shootingtagen ist das ein richtiges Geschenk, weil die Creme mit ihrem Lichtschutzfaktor 30 auch vor der Sonne schützt. An einem solchen sonnigen Ort sind auch die heutigen Bilder entstanden. Manche von euch erkennen ihn vielleicht, denn es ist einer meiner Lieblingsorte und ich habe bereits zuvor hier fotografiert: der Spa-Bereich des La Mamounia (

Die Fotos sind einfach traumhaft. Wirklich nach deinen Fotos habe ich mir vorgenommen (schon als du das letzte Mal dort warst) auch einmal nach Marrakesch zu fliegen.
Und mit der Pflege hast du mich auch überzeugt. Vor allem sieht die Verpackung so schön mit dem Hintergrund aus.

Wow, wie schön die Fotos geworden sind!*-* Ich finde es toll, dass man bei dir merkt, dass du wirklich nur Produkte empfiehlst, von denen du überzeugt bist.
Abgesehen von meiner Haut, bin auch extrem vorsichtig und unexperimentierfreudig, was meine Haare angeht…., Slow Age werde ich mir aber auf jeden Fall mal etwas genauer ansehen*-*

die Bilder sind wie immer unheimlich schön geworden. Ich muss die Creme unbedingt ausprobieren. Ich habe zwar eine gute Pflege aber ich mag Vichy und Lichtschutzfaktor 30 ist natürlich perfekt. Ich habe LSF 15 bei meiner Tagespflege. Das ist auch ok aber 30 ist definitiv besser. danke für den Tipp.
