Nowadays sold out doesn’t always mean there is no chance to get the item of interest… 😉 Today’s post is all about my new Chanel belt bag and how I scored it on ebay!

I can’t even remember how long I’ve been looking for THE perfect Chanel belt bag. Every now end then I saw people wearing it and I was looking for a model which was classic and new – For a model I haven’t seen on too many people before. When I finally found a new Chanel belt bag in my favorite autumn shade, burgundy,I was soo keen on getting it! Nevertheless, with travelling for work most of the time, I made it to the boutique too late and couldn’t find the bag in the exact color I was dreaming of anymore…
I started to check for a way to still get it, when I found the mode online, at ebay.com. I’ve been using ebay since the very beginning, but mostly to sell items or back then to find a good bargain and hoping no one would have a better offer. But amazingly ebay has changed so much and nowadays you find more than 80% items which are brand new and have a “Buy now” function which I loooove when wanting to secure a rare find such as my new Chanel belt bag. 🙂
When looking for the bag at ebay I made sure to use the category for luxury handbag which already had an authentication check: here. When shopping handbags from this category, you can be sure that they have already been checked and that they are 100% real! In general when looking for a specific item, I would always recommend using the filters ‘Ready to ship’ and ‘buy now!
For today’s look I used my new dream bag to belt a nude blazer. As it’s quite chilly in London I also layered a coat. To add a bit more burgundy I was wearing Paper London pants with checked pattern. My ‘choos’ are Jimmy Choo – The black boots I’m wearing quite often as you can transform them from ankle boots to boots! Such a smart idea. 😉
