One of the most exciting moments of the yearly Fashion calendar is Paris Haute Couture. It’s the time when designers show the best of the best; The art of couture!

A week full of inspiration and breathtaking designs. Press as well as Couture clients from all over the world come to see the next Couture season and you will always have some astonishing Couture moments with extravagant stylings or poses on the runway! This time it was freezing cold in Paris and it even turned in to a winter wonderland for a day with the perfect dusting of snow! For the second time in a row I was happy to be part of the My Theresa shoe club! Therefore, most of the shoes you can find on the pictures are from the new season at Mytheresa.com. Moreover, I felt honoured to be the ambassador of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. As ambassador I shared my experiences from the shows with the @parisfashionweek account and also took the account over for a day – It was an amazing opportunity! Another highlight was that I was staying at my beloved Plaza Athénée again which still feels like a is a dream! Below you can find the outfits I was wearing for the different shows, which on do you like the most? xx Leonie

I. DIOR – Tulle & Toile de jouy

I think we can all agree that there’s nothing like a full Dior look by Maria Grazia Chiuri!?;) Before the show I had the great pleasure to visit the lovely French Dior Fashion team for a fitting to create the perfect look for the show together! After so many seasons with Dior, I’m happy to call the team my friends and these kind of fittings are always one of the highlights during the fashion weeks! The Couture show was quite intimate and I felt honored to be one of the guests. Moreover, it was the only day of Couture week it wasn’t snowing and raining and the sunset at the end of the day was breathtaking! Of course I had to climb out on to the Plaza Athénée roof to show you guys 😉

II. SCHIAPARELLI – BLACK & GOLDEN SUIT

The first look was my look for the Schiaparelli Couture show. During the fitting for the show I had the honour to meet some members of the Schiaparelli team and I learnt so much about the history of the Couture house. As an interesting side fact: Elsa Schiaparelli was the main competitor of Coco Chanel back then and excitingly the Couture House was reopened in 2012 at the beautiful Hôtel de Fontpertuis, 21 place Vendôme,
– the very place where Elsa left it. The Maison is absolutely breathtaking and therefore I decided to take a picture here during the shooting to share it with you! The show day was also very special because I had the amazing opportunity to take over their Instagram account at the day of the show to share how I was getting ready! I was wearing a total look by Schiaparelli and added my black Madame Céline boots and Dior sunglasses.

III. Isabel Marant boots & Balenciaga coat

One of the looks you guys loved the most this season (maybe because I was wearing it when Paris looked snowy and romantic ;)) was the most stunning Balenciaga coat, I paired with my new favorite overknee boots: XXL boots from Isabel Marant which were part of the My Theresa shoe club. As part of #TheShoeClub I got to choose some super cool shoes for the season and obviously I went for some warmer ones as there was snow! I’m always very nerdy when it comes to weather forecast so that’s why I was mentally prepared for the weather. 😉 I paired an XXL blouse and a wool baret I always have in my luggage for Paris (both from Asos!) with a Dior leather corset. The box bag is one of my current favorites from Oscar de la Renta and the small bag is Jacquemus.

IV. BALMAIN – The futuristic dress

In case you’re following along on Instagram and IG stories, you might now that my absolute highlight was attending the first ever Balmain Couture show! I honestly felt so happy and honoured to be part of it and the first Balmain Couture show. I decided to wear something very Balmain: the sexiest dress which was one of the coolest designs I’ve ever seen and which was also almost fully transparent. 😉 The whole evening turned out to be so much fun and Balmain and Oliver Rousteing definitely did not disappoint! I loved so many pieces and even came back to the re-See the day after to see all the new designs with a bit more time!

V. RVDK: Gold & Nude tones

The following look is one of my personal favorites. When I got the golden Ronald van der Kemp blouse, I directly felt inspired to create a looks with soft tones around it. The beautiful nude boots are from The Row and part of the My Theresa shoe club! As I’m a big The Row lover, I even had the matching bag with me.;) The sunnies are Max Mara, the blazer is Acne Studios and the leather skirt is by Petar Petrov.

VI. Dior tulle & Shearling coat

This outfit is from my favorite morning in Paris when I was on my way to the Dior re-See. I still had my outfit from the show and decided to create a similar look with more winterly items. We took this pic for fun in front of my beloved Plaza Athénée when it was so dreamy – the snow started to melt but I was still feeling a little playful ;)!

X: ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER – Overall & Puffa Jackets

This look was my funniest Couture week moment for me, I was on my way to the Alexandre Vauthier show which is always so sexy! But as it was so cold in Paris I decided to come in appropriate clothes 😉 I wore a massive cosy puff jacket my Nanushka, Isabel Marant booties, a Stella McCartney jumpsuit and my darling Louis Vuitton Petite Boite a Chapeau. Outside the street style photographers were so lovely and responded really well with some cool coverage, however, inside every was dressed really sexy and I had so many clothes on!

XI: Zuhair Murad & Balenciaga Booties

This was on the way to the Zuhair Murad show which now seems so crazy as it was the fifth show of the day and it was already getting dark. On top of this I was off to Balmain later that night too! I had these amazing pieces from Zuhair Murad, a cape and some pants I really loved, paired with my My Theresa show club Balenciaga boots. The Dior bag I still had from the show and could not stop wearing it! 😉
