Spring In The City

Spring in the city collage

I had so much fun rediscovering my spring outfits from the pre-lockdown days when I shared them on the blog the other week… So I decided to do another deep dive into my camera roll and find some more for you guys! I hope you enjoy these colourful looks as much as I enjoy sharing them with you. <3

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of pink, especially given that I just wrote a whole post dedicated to pink outfits ;). But I still have more to show you! I’m obsessed with this vibrant Pepe Jeans blazer and wanted to play around with different tones, so chose softer pinks for the rest of the look. Also, this cute beaded bag from up-and-coming brand BOYY is so fun and adds a sense of playfulness to this feminine outfit.

Honestly, I think this Stand Studio coat speaks for itself. It gives me total Carrie Bradshaw vibes which is why I obviously had to pair it with equally fabulous accessories – how amazing are these embellished Amina Muaddi pumps?! And of course, my favourite pink checked Jacquemus bag always has to make an appearance ;).

One of the main reasons I love Notting Hill so much is all the colourful houses! They inspire me to add even more vibrance to my wardrobe – even though it’s already quite colourful, let’s be honest ;). For this outfit, I really wanted to highlight my candy-coloured Kate Spade bag. So I kept the rest of the outfit and my Bottega shoes fairly neutral, making sure they don’t distract attention away from the colour pop, but instead complement it.

I personally think that orange is best worn with brown or cream tones. To prevent an outfit from looking too Autumnal, I always make sure that the added details are in white rather than black. Like the piping on my Prada bowling bag and the buttons on my jacket. This lifts the whole look and keeps it fresh for spring.

Here’s another example of how to wear orange! This time with creamy colours and organza. I find that sheer fabrics can be super sophisticated, you just have to get the layering right! I love these lemony pants from Baum & Pferdgarten as they’re so unique and they go perfectly with my favourite Bottega chain bag which I wear allllll the time!

And finally, a more recent picture of happy yellow tones to bring the sunshine inside, even during lockdown ;). Although I’ve mostly been living in loungewear these days, it’s nice to mix things up a bit and wear a more ‘normal’ everyday outfit now and again! I just love this cute Veronica Beard blazer and it matches my flowers! <3

Which look is your favourite for spring? 🙂
