Hi loves! These past few weeks have been quite busy again what with moving into my new apartment in Hamburg and time has really flown by! I can’t believe summer is over and the cooler autumnal weather is already here. But at least it’s a good excuse to switch up my wardrobe. 😉
Given the times, I’ve mostly been shopping online but I’ve still felt passionate about supporting independent designers who haven’t been able to show their collections during fashion month. So I was super excited to learn about the new Amazon Fashion Connects initiative, announcing that Amazon Fashion would be partnering with various European councils to support up-and-coming designers, giving them the visibility and reach that they deserve, with the easiest of shopping experiences.
The first outfit I chose from the new fashion offering mostly features London Fashion Week designers because as you know, London is so close to my heart! This gorgeous white Teija maxi dress has such a flattering silhouette and can be easily layered up during colder weather, just add some cool boots and a stylish coat. For now, as the temperatures haven’t dropped too much, I paired it with black accessories so it didn’t look overly summery. I’m particularly obsessed with the details of the Kat Maconie shoes, she has so many fun and unique designs.
The second look I styled is more casual and easy for everyday style. During lockdown, I really rediscovered my love of being in comfy clothes and I think it might be hard to go back… even between shows during Paris fashion week I would change into my cosy clothes!
I love styling knit pieces as they look good on all shapes and sizes, plus you don’t need to iron them ;). This cute crop top is the perfect transitional piece which I layered up with an oversized blazer in the loveliest autumn-leaf colour. You could also dress this look up but as I was running errands around my new neighbourhood, I paired it with classic denim and white sneakers, which Amazon has a great selection of and you can easily search their most-loved items or check for new-ins. 🙂
Which look would you choose this Autumn? <3
