As Autumn is fast approaching, I thought I would create a little inspiration for transitional dressing. It can be difficult to plan for the changes in the season as the weather at the best of times can be so unpredictable. I like to include light base layers, which really are the key to building a transitional wardrobe as you are prepared for every eventuality.

I’ve added these fun fringed Bottega Veneta sandals into my wardrobe recently as I’ve worn my feather dot sandals so much I thought these would be a fun take for Autumn. The rich burgundy hue is a great alternative if you want to try something different from the classic chocolate brown or black tones. Boots are always a staple and I always like to choose pieces that have a different style like The Attico over-the-knee boots which have an unusual geometric-shaped heel. I would love to hear if you have any transitional dressing tips to share!
