Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines – St. Moritz

My loves, last weekend I had the best time ever – St. Moritz (Switzerland) celebrated 150years winter tourism and I was invited to this event by the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines! The days in St. Moritz and all my impressions have been kind of overwhelming and diverse so I needed some time to figure out how to share everything with you! I already published a post in cooperation with La Perla & Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines and, furthermore, I’d like to share some pictures from pretty winter wonderland St. Moritz (coming soon!:)) and the crazily beautiful place I’ve been staying at: the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines!

This year I’ve not experienced any winterly weather in North of Germany and the happier I felt when I got out of the train in St. Moritz and everything felt like Christmas. The air felt fresh and nice and I saw my first snow this year! And I was able to experience everything with my dear boyfriend Alex who was also invited! We had a wonderful warm welcome at the hotel and the PR executive Paul was just an incredible entertaining and dedicated person… 😉

The three nights we spent at the hotel were running too fast! There was just so much we wanted to do and we couldn’t really decide what to do first! Alex and I both love to eat in nice company and we tried various restaurants at the hotel and one was better than the other! Below you can find some pictures from the breakfast buffet as it was really yummy! Feeling hungry from skiing we also tried the room service and they were just adorable – They even found a Kinder “Überraschungsei” when I said I had a serious craving!:) And also the overall service was just excellent. Everyone was open-minded and really friendly and Paul gave as too many reasons to laugh – We honestly felt like home quickly!

A few of my personal highlights have been the day on the mountain – the hotel provided us with passports to get there and we were able to borrow everything else we needed at the hotel-, the Xaveir Naidoo concert to celebrate the 150 years of winter tourism, the walk to the hotel along the water and the beautiful spa area! I would have loved the idea to skip sleeping in order to have more time to enjoy everything, but the bed was just too comfortable! 😉

I’ve never been to a winter tourism spot before (yes, I’m not kidding!) and I would love to come back with more time – And there couldn’t be a more beautiful place than the Kempinski Hotel! Thank you SOOO much Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines and my favorite bird of paradise, Paul: we had unforgettable days and we wouldn’t hesitate a second to come back immediately! 🙂 xx Leonie (& Alex)

Hallo ihr Lieben, am letzten Wochenende hatte ich eine so unheimlich schöne Zeit – In St. Moritz wurden 150 Jahre Wintertourismus gefeiert und das Kempinski Hotel Grand Hotel des Baines hatte mich eingeladen an den Feierlichkeiten teilzunehmen! Die Tage und meine Eindrücke waren für mich so besonders und facettenreich, dass ich mich gar nicht richtig entscheiden konnte wie ich alles am besten mit euch teile! Neben meinem La Perla & Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines Post werde ich noch ein paar Lieblingsbilder aus dem Kempinski Hotel und dem Winterwonderland St. Moritz zu zeigen! Heute möchte ich euch den wunderschönen Ort zeigen, an dem mein Freund und ich das lange Wochenende verbringen durften: das Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines.

Dieses Jahr gab es im Norden Deutschland noch keinen Winter und umso schöner war es in St. Moritz aus dem Zug zu steigen und die frische Bergluft einzuatmen und den ersten Schnee zu sehen! Ich hatte das Glück, dass ich zu dem Event meinen Freund mitnehmen konnte, was an einem so schönen und magischen Ort natürlich die Krönung ist! Wir wurden im Hotel direkt mehr als herzlich empfangen und der PR Executive Paul ist wirklich einer der unterhaltsamsten und engagiertesten Personen, die ich je treffen durfte.

Die drei Nächte vergingen viel zu schnell und wir konnten uns gar nicht entscheiden, womit wir am liebsten unsere Zeit verbringen wollten! Mein lieber Freund Alex und ich sind sehr begeisterungsfähig, was das Essen angeht und wir wurden sooo unheimlich verwöhnt! Wir haben in den unterschiedlichen Restaurants des Hotels dinniert und ich habe euch auch einige Bilder von dem Frühstücksbuffet raus gesucht, weil ich es wirklich zu lecker fand! Besonders entzückend fand ich den Zimmer Service! Mein Freund hatte durchs Ski Fahren sehr viel Hunger und als er beim Service nach Überraschungseiern für mich fragte, konnten sie sogar diese für mich auftreiben!;) Und auch neben dem Essen habe ich ehrlich noch nie so tollen Service erlebt. Alle waren sehr aufmerksam und dabei gar nicht aufdringlich und durch Paul gab es eh durchgehend einen Grund zu lachen! Wir haben uns ein bisschen gefühlt wie Prinz und Prinzessin! 😉

Ein paar Highlights meines Aufenthalts waren der Tag auf dem Gipfel – das Kempinski Hotel hatte uns Bergpässe besorgt und wir konnten im Hotel alles notwenige ausleihen -, das Xavier Naidoo Konzert zur Feier des Jubiläums, der magische Weg aus der Stadt zum Hotel entlang des Wassers und der unglaublich schöne Spa! Am liebsten hätte ich gar nicht geschlafen, aber die Bergluft hat so müde gemacht und das Bett war so weich – sobald ich das Bett nur berührt habe, hätte ich sofort einschlafen können! 🙂

Ich war vorher noch nie im Wintersport und wünschte mir noch einmal mit etwas mehr Zeit an diesen unfassbar schönen Ort zurück zu kehren und ich könnte mir dafür keinen schöneren Ort als das Kempinski Hotel vorstellen! Viiiielen lieben Dank an das Kempinski Grand Hotel des Baines und an den liebsten aller Paradiesvögel, Paul, der mich wirklich berührt hat – Wir hatten unvergessliche Tage und wollen bitte sofort zurück! 🙂 xx Leonie (& Alex)
