nhow Berlin – Music and Lifestyle Hotel

When arriving home after an exciting journey, I’m always reviewing everything, thinking about what I’ve learnt and what made the time so special to me.

After I returned from Berlin, I couldn’t stop thinking about my stay at the nhow hotel – And there are various reasons for that! The nhow hotel is a music and lifestyle hotel and you can feel that in every corner of that place. They have a piano and drums in the chill-out lounge and the bar is surrounded by guitars. There is also a stage and the various conference rooms offer space for different kind of workshops that bring together business meetings with musical team building elements. Every elevator plays music belonging to a different musical genre and, therefore, going up or down is always surrounded by music! The whole hotel offers a new and exciting mixture of music and design! One day we arrived late at the hotel after an event and were surprised by a business man and all his colleagues standing around the piano, playing music and singing songs. It was such a positive atmosphere, we had to stay instead of going to our rooms!

I also loved the creative service: there were colorful pieces of chocolate at the reception and in the room and they gave me a pink little box with a pink bath duck (Rosie – You can see her in the pictures!;)) in it! And even on our most stressful day they made us smile again, by giving us one of their minis which helped us to get from A to B in time (you can find out more about the crazy day: here)!:) Thank you so much Tim & Lucia for the excellent service and the beautiful stay! Nachdem sich der ganze Fashion Week Trouble gelegt hatte, habe ich überlegt, was mir an der Zeit in Berlin besonders viel Freunde bereitet hat – Und dabei musste ich sofort an meinen Aufenthalt im nhow Berlin denken. Ich bin in meinem Umfeld dafür bekannt, dass ich ganz besonders begeisterungsfähig bin und mein Herz nicht nur an Menschen, sondern auch an Dinge und Orte hängen. So musste ich bspw. als kleines Kind weinen als ich meinem Urlaubsfahrrad Lebewohl sagen musste und selbst in meinem letzten Thailandurlaub mit meinem Freund hatte ich einen ganzen Tag Liebeskummer, nachdem ich meinen liebsten Ort in Thailand verabschieden musste! 😉

Obwohl ich grade im letzten Jahr einige Hotel kennen gelernt habe, habe ich noch nie in einem vergleichbaren Ort übernachtet. Das nhow ist ein Music und Lifestyle Hotel und das Konzept wird zu hundert Prozent gelebt! Im Eingangsbereich schaut man direkt auf einen entspannten Loungebereich, neben dem eine Bühne mit Schlagzeug aufgebaut ist. An der Wand lädt ein Flügel zum Spielen ein und um die Bar herum hängen Gitarren an der Wand. Jeder Fahrstuhl repräsentiert ein Musik Genre und so wurden wir beim Rauf- und Runterfahren immer wieder aufs Neue mir unterschiedlichster Musik überrascht. Was mich besonders begeistert hat, war die Mischung auf Musik und dem hochwertigen Design. Einen Abend kamen wir spät von einem Event ins Hotel und am Klavier saß ein Geschäftsmann und um ihn herum standen ca. 10 weitere Herren im Anzug und alle sangen zusammen – Da mochten wir gar nicht auf unser Zimmer gehen, sonder mussten das muntere Geschehen weiter genießen!

Meine persönlichen Highlights waren die kleine pinke Geschenkbox, in der auch meine neue pinke Quietschente “Rosie” war (ihr findet sie auch auf den Bildern ;)) und der Tag, an dem uns das Hotel einen der Hotel-Minis zur Verfügung gestellt hat, nachdem sie von unserem ” Katastrophentag” gehört hatten (siehe: MBFWB Day V)! Und nun möchte ich die Bilder für sich sprechen lassen!;) Ich hoffe ihr könnt sehen, dass das nhow gute Laune und Lust aufs durch Zimmer Tanzen gemacht hat!:) Liebsten Dank an Tim und Lucia, die den Aufenthalt so unvergesslich gemacht haben!!! xx Leonie
