There is no other piece of clothing that has such an inspiration impact on me. Sometimes when seeing a creative and fascinating pair of shoes, it takes my mind to a different place.

From now on I will share this passion with you! “If I were a shoe…” takes you on a journey of truly unique shoes! Today’s issue “A POP OF COLOR” shows you some unbelievable colorful shoes – They are all not really affordable, yet, we can appreciate those powerful designs! Looking at these heels should help you to put yourself in a happy state of mind! Let’s discover what could be seen in each and every pair… xx Leonie
THE (FAIRY) TALE: This shoe reminds me of a fantasy animal out of a fairy tail. A magical pony (“My little pony”!?) with a long pink tail! I would love the idea to wear these heels, feeling the pink fringes playing around with my feet with every step I take! Designed by Christian Louboutin (here).
THE POPPING RAINBOW: And there it was… a shoe that covers every lively color and has such a potential to make you smile! But it’s not even the color that reminds me of a light rainbow, it’s also the delicate strappy details that keep me dreaming… Designed by Sophia Webster (here).
THE ICE CREAM CONE: I’m such a sucker for ice cream – As soon as I see the first rays of sun, I grab some pocket change and hit my favorite ice cream store. Standing there, starring at a range of colorful flavors. Just think about wearing a shoe that reminds you of this situation! Yummy, I can imagine worse! Designed by Charlotte Olympia (here).
THE COLORS STUDS: There is probably no shoe I’ve seen more often on Instagram than the classical “Rock stud” by Valentino. The bigger the surprise, when I found this color-blocking statement version of it – With each and every strappy detail made of a different popping color, like rock studs playing on a rainbow! Designed by Valentino (here).
THE COLOR BLOCKER: Let’s keep the last picture in mind, but suddenly the rainbow starts to melt, resulting in sticky, floating colors that remind me of colorful jelly bellys behind plexiglass! Quite a nice alternative to the rock studs!? Designed by Valentino (here).
THE AQUATIC ANIMAL: A light turquoise with delicate red details – It reminds me of a fairy tale animal which lives in the ocean with red scales on its back. Let’s pretend it’s a friendlier version of “Nessi” or even a mermaid!? Designed by Brian Atwood (here).
THE FLAMINGO: There is something so magical about these light pink animals, standing in the water on only one leg surrounded by a tropical vegetation. Let’s keep this picture in mind and turning it into a heel – Light pink, shimmering and with floral details! Designed by Sophia Webster (here).
THE WATER MELON: It’s a warm summer day and you are packing a basket on your way to spend the day with friends next to the cool freshness of a pool. There is nothing better to take with you than a mouthwatering water melon. Isn’t it fascinating how beautiful some fruits are? Why not dedicate a heel to this wonderful fruit? Designed by Charlotte Olympia (here).
