What shall I do with those amazing sleeveless overalls until it’s summer?

No, just sitting, waiting, wishing is not a satisfying solution! Therefore, we need creative ideas in order to make these pieces good companions for spring! Every now and then I see fashionable people wearing super tight turtle neck pullovers underneath their sleeveless overalls, but still I feel like getting no air when wearing tight turtleneck sweaters! And who likes continuos strangulations? – Well, ok, we might have some Christian Grey admirers among us who wouldn’t say no!;) Still, the movie just made me feel like watching Twilight reloaded and that felt quite irritating! Didn’t you see the similarities!? I just realize I’m getting out of topic… 😉
Since turtlenecks seem to be no option, I decided to try something new! I combined my sleeveless overall with my long beloved blouse and my light blazer from Set ( I just wore it in “Lace up boots & soft shades” – I have to wear favorites over an over again! Not doing it would be a sense, wouldn’t it!?;)) Consequently, I’m kind of wearing my overall undercover in today’s post! One might mistake it for wide pants, but this dear overall adds up some extra inches of legs!;) My conclusion for today: Don’t be afraid to try creative solution approaches – All is fair in love and fashion!;) xx Leonie

Was mache ich bloß mit diesen wundervollen ärmellosen Overalls solange es noch nicht wirklich Hochsommer ist? Nein, Abwarten ist natürlich keine befriedigende Lösung! Dementsprechend bedarf es kreativer Lösungsansätze! Zum einen sehe ich hin und wieder wagemutige Modepersönlichkeiten, die einen engen Rollkragenpullover unter den Overall anziehen, aber von engen Rollis bekomme ich noch immer ernsthafte Beklemmungsgefühle – Wer wird schon gerne durchgehend leicht gewürgt… Außer natürlich von Christian Grey!? Kleiner Scherz, ich fand den Film hochgradig irritierend. Es fühlte sich an wie Twilight Reloaded, oder ging es nur mir so!?;) Ich bemerke grade, dass ich hier leicht vom Thema ankomme…! 🙂
Da ich also Rollkragenpullover für mich ausschließen konnte, hatte ich spontan noch eine andere Eingebung: Umfunktionieren – lautet das Zauberwort! Also habe ich meine hyper mega geliebte lange Bluse und meinen hellen Blazer von Set kombiniert. Den Blazer hatte ich schon im Look “Lace up boots & soft shades” an, aber wenn ich Lieblingsstücke habe, dann muss ich sie immer und immer wieder tragen! Alles andere wäre doch auch schade, oder nicht? Also habe ich den Overall quasi versteckt. Man könnte beim ersten Hingucken denken es wäre ein weite Hose – Durch den kleinen Trick gibt es optisch zusätzlich mindestens 5cm extra Bein geschenkt! Mein Schlusswort für heute: Sagt ja, zu kreativen Lösungsansätzen – In der Liebe und in der Mode ist alles erlaubt!:) xx Leonie

Hmmm… tolle Idee, ich persönlich hätte mir etwas mehr Struktur in all den weiten, unstrukturierten Silhouetten gewünscht. Mit einer Skinny wäre es genau richtig gewesen und hätte sehr sophisticated ausgesehen, oder mit einem kurzen, taillierten Blazer wäre es mehr Studio-54-artig geworden.
