Used jeans, stripes & knit

After quite some time today’s post is the first one I shot in Hamburg, the place where I’ve been born and raised.

There is so much I love about Hamburg – the Alster and the Elbe, the little distance to the ocean and the old building I’m living in. Still, I never feel more inspired than when leaving my home, exploring new places and meeting new people. I’m always a bit nervous when getting into an airplane, but as soon as I get of the airplane I feel alive, free like a bird and excited. And the moments we make during travels are the most valuable treasure. The moment when I was standing in front of the cathedral in Milan, holding a huge gelato and it was raining confetti, the moment when I visited the Tory Burch show in New York, meeting so many influential fashion personalities I really admire or the moment I was standing in front of the Dream Castle at Disney Land Paris when suddenly you hear the first tones of “The Lion King”…And when I close my eyes there are uncountable of these moments that make me feel blessed and happy. From now on I want to share even more of what I experience with you. I’m already working on some travel diaries to share my favorite places abroad with you and I also want to show you more about me – In case you want to find out more!:)

But before sharing all that, there is a new outfit I want to show you. We were hitting some summerly temperatures during the last days and I decided that it might be my last chance to wear some high heels. I do have a thing for light used jeans – I really like today’s jeans as they are rather tight and they allow you to layer a pullover and a blouse without looking lost in your clothes.:) The striped blouse is one of my favorite layering basics at the moment. I was already wearing it in the Coffee in Le Marais post and I’m pretty sure you will see it in even more looks!:) My jewelry and my watch are from Joop, I simply love to wear an eye-catching watch and mix it with some bracelets. Denim and brown are always a good idea and, therefore, I had a good reason to wear my beloved Faye bag. xx Leonie

Nach längerer Zeit gibt es heute mal wieder einen Outfit-Post aus meiner Heimat Hamburg. Eigentlich liebe ich Hamburg – die Alster und die Elbe, die Nähe zum Meer, meine schöne Altbauwohnung, doch Inspiration finde ich genau dann, wenn ich meiner Heimat verlasse, wenn ich neue Menschen, neue Städte, neue Kulturen entdecke. Ich bin immer etwas aufgeregt und nervös, wenn ich in den Flieger steige, aber ich fühle mich nie lebendiger als wenn ich an einem neuen Ort ankomme. Und die Momente, die wir auf Reisen erleben sind wohl das wertvollste, was wir besitzen. Der Moment als ich zum ersten Mal mit einem großen Gelato vor der Kathedrale in Mailand stand und es vom Himmel Konfetti regnete, als ich in New York bei Tory Burch Show war und so viele meiner Modevorbilder treffen konnte, als ich im Disney Land vor dem Dream Castle stand und plötzlich die ersten Klänge aus “Der König der Löwen” angestimmt wurden… Und wenn ich die Augen schließe sehe ich noch viele dieser unbezahlbaren Glücksmomente. Zukünftig möchte ich noch mehr mit euch teilen. Ich möchte mir mehr Zeit für Travel Diaries und persönliche Postings nehmen und alles, was mich begeistert mit euch teilen!

Bevor ich euch mehr von meinen Reisen und Plänen erzähle, gibt es aber heute noch ein neues Outfit – Eine Mischung aus casual und chic. Die letzten Tage haben wir in Hamburg noch einmal die 15° Grenze geknackt und so habe ich ein letztes Mal (?) High Heels getragen. Kombiniert habe ich eine meiner liebsten Jeans – Ich trage unheimlich gerne used Jeans in hellen Waschungen. Dazu gibts einen schulterfreien Pullover, den ich mit einer gestreiften Bluse kombiniert habe. Die Bluse ist aktuell eins meiner liebsten Layering-Basics – Ich habe sie auch im Post Coffee in Le Marais getragen und habe das Gefühl, dass ihr sie schon bald wieder sehen werdet!:) Meine Schmuck und meine Uhr sind von Joop – Ich trage unheimlich gerne eine auffällige Uhr und kombiniere dazu ein paar passende Armbänder und dezente Ringe. Zu Jeans gefällt mir unheimlich gut braun und daher kommt auch heute wieder meine geliebte Faye Bag zum Einsatz. xx Leonie
