#IntimissimiLovesSantorini | Santorini

After I’ve spammed you with  S a n t o r i n i  pictures on Instagram, I finally found time to prepare the promised blog post. Santorini is one of this places that has always been on my bucket list and even though Greece is not too far away, I never really had a chance to visit this beautiful island.

The more excited I was, when Intimissimi invited me to celebrate the launch of their #IntimissimiLovesSantorini collection in Santorini. When we arrived after incredible long travels it was only 6:00 o’clock in the morning and the sun was about to rise. Even though I felt jetlagged and tired, I will never forget the first moment I left the airport and the whole island was soaked in the light pink morning light. It was just beyond beautiful and I couldn’t believe my eyes. The light pink light turned into purple and when we arrived at our hotel the sun was out and I saw Santorini in all its beauty for the first time – u n b e l i e v a b l e. Our first event with Intimissimi was scheduled for the evening and, therefore, we had quite some time to explore the West coast of the island. When we came back to the hotel, there were white boxes waiting for me. Inside I found the highlights of the #IntimissimiLovesSantorini collection: dark blue plisée, white lace and a beautiful floral print – The perfect fit for Santorini. Together with some other bloggers from all over the world I spent two unforgettable days with Intimissimi, designing our own underwear, visiting a Greek cooking class, tasting wine in the sunset and shooting our #IntimissimiLovesSantorini favorites. My personal favorite is a white kimono with floral print, I wear it with skinny jeans or with easy beach wear. Santorini was one of the best experiences I ever had and I hope you enjoy the pictures. xx Leonie

Nachdem ich euch tagelang mit sommerlichen Bildern auf Instagram gequält habe, gibt es heute endlich auch den versprochenen Blog Post zu meiner Zeit auf Santorini. Santorini ist einer dieser Orte, der schon immer auf meiner Bucket List stand und obwohl Griechenland gefühlt einen Katzensprung entfernt ist, hatte sich bisher nie eine Gelegenheit ergeben. Umso mehr habe ich mich gefreut als mich Santorini zum Launch ihrer neuen #IntimissimiLovesSantorini Kollektion nach Santorini eingeladen hat. Als wir nach eine langen Anreise aus LA in Santorini ankommen war es grade 6:00 Uhr morgens. Und trotz Erschöpfung und Müdigkeit von einem 30 Stunden Tripp war ich wie in Trance von dem Anblick Santorinis in der Morgensonne. Die weißen Häuser und das blaue Meer – Alles war in ein rosa Licht getaucht und ich habe selten etwas so schönes Gesehen. Und mit jeder Minute veränderte sich das Licht. Aus rosa wurde lila und dann plötzlich war die Sonne da und ich war angekommen. Am ersten Tag war ich von der Schönheit Santorinis komplett überwältigt. Ich konnte mich gar nicht bremsen – Ich konnte nicht am PC sitzen oder im Hotelzimmer ausruhen – Ich musste raus und diesen wundervollen Ort erkunden. Unser erstes Event mit Intimissimi stand erst für abends auf dem Zeitplan und so haben wir tagsüber Fira erkundet. Als ich wieder ins Hotel kam, lagen bereits weiße Intimissimi Geschenkboxen auf meinem Bett. In den Boxen waren die Highlights der neuen #IntimissimiLovesSantorini Kollektion – Weiße Spitze, fließende Materialien und dunkelblaues Plissee, alles sah wunderbar nach Santorini aus. Hinterher begann dann bereits unser Programm. Gemeinsam mit Intimissimi und Bloggerinnen von überall aus der Welt haben wir in Oia an der Küste gegessen, Unterwäsche designt, einen griechischen Kochkurs belegt und natürlich unsere Favoriten aus der #IntimissimiLovesSantorini Kollektion fotografiert. Mein persönlicher Liebling ist der Kimono mit blauem Blumenmuster. Die Zeit mit Intimissimi auf Santorini war einfach unvergesslich schön und ich hoffe euch gefallen die Bilder. xx Leonie
