Not even two month passed ever since I visited my favorite Greek island for the first time, but instead of the rainy and windy 19 degrees we were welcomed by hot 30 degree. Hello, European summer, nice to see you again! Also, you can clearly tell that the touristy season has started since some parts of the islands are packed with tourists from everywhere in the world. When it got a little chilly in the evening, Alex and I decided to drive to our favorite place on the island, Oia, for a nice dinner with a view. Even though Santorini is a place you should not wear high heels to start a little exploration tour, I had to wear my new Proenza Schouler stunners at least in the evening. I’m always checking Monnier Freres for accessories – handbags, shoes and other goodies and especially during summer I love to browse through their assortment to find some new sunnies. I missed the Proenza heels the first time I saw them online and was super excited to find them at Monnier Freres. I when shopping at Monnier Freres, I always write a little memo to me, myself and I. Nothing special just a little “Treat yourself, babe” – or “You deserve it!” – Just that it really feels like getting a present for myself.;) Also there is always a little voucher code for the next purchase – So tempting! Ich habe mich spätestens nach Sommer gefühlt als ich auf S a n t o r i n i angekommen bin. Es sind keine zwei Monate vergangen seit ich zum ersten Mal an diesem wunderschönen Ort war, doch das Klima hat sich komplett verändert. Während wir Ende April bei um die 18 Grad mit Regen und Wind gekämpft haben, sind es nun über 30 Grad und somit ist Hochsaison auf Santorini. Die Reisezeit merkt man auch an den Touristen. Während wir um April die Insel nur mit 1, 2 asiatischen Hochzeitspärchen geteilt haben, stehen wir nun extra früh auf, um Santorini möglichst menschenleer zu genießen. Nichtsdestotrotz: Sommer in Europa ist einfach wunderschön! Und obwohl Santorini ein Ort ist, an dem man gut auf High Heels verzichten kann, wollte ich unbedingt meine neuen Lieblinge von Proenza Schouler ausführen, die ich bei Monnier Freres bestellt habe. Und so habe ich zum Abend hin meine flachen Heels mit einer Fransenjeans und einer gestreiften Bluse von Storets kombiniert. Für die letzten Sonnenstrahlen habe ich auch meine Dior So Real Sonnenbrille dabei und meinen Dauerbrenner, die Chloé Drew Bag in schwarz. Und obwohl es über den Tag sehr warm wird, ist ein etwas angezogener Look perfekt für ein Abendessen im Sonnenuntergang mit leichter Briese vom Meer. Den Großteil meiner Accessoires bestelle ich bei Monnier Freres. Ich habe damals meine Chloé Drew dort gefunden und auch bei meinen Proenza Heels hatte ich Glück, nachdem sie fast überall bereits ausverkauft waren. Besonders im Sommer stöbere ich gerne bei Monnier Freres, da es dann auch eine riesige Auswahl an Sonnenbrillen gibt und die sind einfach mein liebstes Accessoire für sonnige Tage – günstiger als Handtaschen oder Schuhe und trotzdem verleihen sie dem Outfit eine besondere Note! Das Outfit gefällt mir richtig richtig gut. Sehr schön! Ich liebe die Schuhe, aber leider sind sie etwas zu teuer. Ich habe aber ähnliche Schuhe im Mango Sale gefunden, die vielleicht bald in meinem Schrank landen werden.
