There is no better time to try something new than Fashion Week. Whereas my personal style seems to fit naturally into cities like Paris and Milan, I always feel like New York is a bit darker and edgier.

Therefore, when packing for New York Fashion Week, I was super happy to team up with Net-A-Porter again and to be allowed to select some seasonal favorites for this special occasion. One of the pieces, which directly caught my attention, was a camouflage jacket. I loved the cool and casual fit and the idea to style it with a hoodie. You can’t see it in the pictures, but I’m wearing my faaaavorite Asos sweater with the cute tulle details that you were also able to see: here. Hoodies are very fashionable at the moment. However, I’m aware of the fact that I’m normally not the typical hoodie girl and therefore I shopped a less expensive one at Asos. They have a super cute selection – How amazing is this short one with ruffles (here)!? The jeans are by Frame and I love how the denim matches the Miu Miu bag with the cat detail (Miauuu!). In addition I took my Louboutin ankle booties with me – I always get excited when I spot a red sole. When I bought my Louboutins, I immediately fell for the booties with the cool fringe detail. As it was rather cold in NY I wore some semi transparent tights under the jeans. The blouse I layered is from Jacquemus. They have some amazing blouses and I initially dreamed about wearing the blouse with the camou jacket, but well, the temperatures… 😉 Also, I’ve always wanted some nerdy glasses but I didn’t want to spend so much money for a trend that is destined to pass rather quickly. 😉 Alex did a surprise research and found these ones for only 6,95€. Es gibt keine bessere Zeit im Jahr um etwas Neues auszuprobieren als die Fashion Week. Während mein persönlicher Stil sich gut in Städten wie Paris und Mailand einfügt, habe ich immer das Gefühl, dass New York etwas dunkler und edgier ist. Daher war ich froh, als es ans Packen für die New York Fashion Week ging, dass ich wieder zusammen mit Net-a-Porter arbeiten konnte und mir ein paar meiner Lieblinge der Saison für diese Gelegenheit aussuchen durfte. Eines der Kleidungsstücke, die mir dabei direkt ins Auge gefallen sind, war eine Camouflage Jacke. Ich habe mich sofort in den coolen und lässigen Fit der Jacke verliebt und fand die Idee super, ihn mit einem Hoodie zu kombinieren. Man kann ihn in den Fotos nicht richtig sehen, aber ich trage meinen absoluten liiiiiieblings Asos Sweater mit süßen Tülldetails an den Ärmeln, den ich schon in vorherigen Posts anhatte (hier). Hoodies sind momentan sehr modern. Ich weiß jedoch, dass ich normalerweise nicht die typische Hoodie Trägerin bin und habe mich daher für eine günstigeres Exemplar von Asos entschieden. Asos hat eine super süße Auswahl – wie großartig ist dieser kurze Hoodie mit Rüschensaum (hier)? Meine Jeans sind von Frame und ich liebe es, dass das Denim perfekt zu der Miu Miu Tasche mit Katzendetail passt (Miauu!). Das Outfit habe ich mit meinen Louboutin Ankle Boots kombiniert. Ich werde immer ganz aufgeregt, wenn ich eine rote Schuhsole sehe! 😉 Als ich meine Louboutins gekauft habe, hatte ich mich sofort in die Booties mit den coolen Fransen Details verliebt. Da es in New York unglaublich kalt war, habe ich eine semi-transparente Strumpfhose unter der Jeans an. Die Bluse, die ich gelayered habe, ist von Jacquemus. Jacquemus hat einige großartige Blusen und ich hatte anfangs davon geträumt nur die Bluse unter der Camou Jacke zu tragen, aber was soll ich sagen… die Temperaturen! 😉 Außerdem wollte ich schon lange eine Nerdy Brille, aber da ich vermute, dass der Trend auch wieder vorübergehen wird, wollte ich nicht viel Geld dafür ausgeben. 😉 Alex hat mich überrascht und ein bisschen recherchiert und dabei diese Brille für 6,95€ gefunden. Falls ihr auch auf der Suche seid, kann ich euch dieses günstige Exemplar nur empfehlen. 🙂 Alex und ich haben die Fotos in Brooklyn geschossen, da ich die Idee super fand, in einer coolen Location zu shooten, die zu meinem etwas mehr badass Outfit passt! 😉 Küsse aus dem eisigen New York! OMG!!! Wie cool ist denn bitte dieser Look?!?! Ich gebe dir völlig Recht, in New York bekommt man irgendwie immer Lust auf “coolere” Outfits. So wie man halt auf Mallorca gleich die Espadrilles auspackt und in Paris das gestreifte Shirt. Verrückt, aber wahr 😉 Ich bin auch kein so typischer Hoodie Typ, deshalb vielen Dank für die mega süßen und günstigen Teile.
