Die heutigen Bilder sind auf dem Weg zur Max Mara Show entstanden. Ausnahmsweise waren wir mal sehr gut in der Zeit und ich musste die schwere Entscheidung treffen, wie ich die verbleibende Zeit nutzen sollte: 1. um mir den zweiten Soja Latte des noch jungen Morgens bei meinem Liebling Panini Durini zu holen (denn der Kaffee im Hotel entsprach leider nicht dem zugegebenermaßen hohen italienischen Standard) oder 2. noch kurz vor dem Duomo stehen bleiben sollte, um ein paar Fotos zu schießen. Wie ihr sehen könnt, ist die Entscheidung zu Gunsten der Fotos ausgefallen – aber keine Angst, wir sind danach doch überraschend an einem Panini Durini vorbeigekommen und ich musste nicht auf meinen zusätzlichen Koffeinboost vor der Show verzichten.

Da die Show früh am Morgen war, hatten wir den Duomo – eine meiner liebsten Mailand Locations – noch fast ganz für uns alleine und konnten in Ruhe fotografieren. Ich trage eine gestreifte Max Mara Hose, die ich mir für die Show ausgeliehen hatte, in Kombination mit einem Prada Sweater mit Roboterprint von Net-a-Porter (ja, manchmal muss ich den kleinen Sheldon Cooper in mir pflegen) und einem Bomber von Topshop Unique. Den Schwarz-Mix habe ich mit einem Hauch von Rot in Form meiner Chanel Bag aufgebrochen. Meine größte Obsession sind die SANAYI313 Booties, die ich ebenfalls von Net-a-Porter habe und während der Fashion Week gleich mehrere Male getragen habe. Mein Lieblingsaccessoire für Bilder vor dem Duomo sind jedoch die Tauben. Auch wenn ich auf den Touristenbrauch die Tauben mit Vogelfutter anzulocken gerne verzichten kann, freue ich mich doch, wenn gelegentlich eine durchs Bild flattert – es wäre sonst ja nicht Il Duomo! 🙂 xx Leonie

Today’s pictures were taken on my way to the Max Mara Show in Milan. For a change we were not running late and I had to make the tough decision what to do with the spare time: 1. get my second soya latte of the day at my beloved Panini Durini (because the hotel coffee unfortunately did not meet the admittedly high Italian standard) or 2. stop in front of Il Duomo to take some pictures. As you can see I decided on the latter but no worries: we happened to walk past a Panini Durini afterwards and I did get my extra caffeine boost before the show after all. Since the show took place early in the morning we had the Duomo – one of my favorite Milan locations – nearly to ourselves and were able to take pictures undisturbed. I am wearing a striped pair of Max Mara pants that I borrowed for the show from the brand together with a Prada sweater from Net-a-Porter with a robot print (yes, sometimes I have to nurture my inner Sheldon Cooper) and a bomber by Topshop Unique. I spruced the black-mix up with my red Chanel bag. My biggest obsession though were the SANAYI313 booties that I got at Net-a-Porter as well and that I wore several times during fashion week. However, my favorite accessory when shooting at Il Duomo are the pigeons. While I can easily go without the usual tourist tradition of attracting them with bird food, I don’t mind one fluttering through the picture once in a while – it wouldn’t be Il Duomo without them! 😉 xx Leonie
