Wenn es um schöne Locations geht, lasse ich mich eigentlich immer am liebsten direkt vor Ort inspirieren, während ich durch die Straßen schlendere. Aber natürlich wurde ich neugierig, also ich in Palm Springs von einem Ort gelesen habe, der einfach nur „That Pink Door“ heißt und ein Google ein sagenhaftes Rating von 5/5 hat. 😉

Da Palm Springs tatsächlich recht klein ist und wir sehr zentral gewohnt haben, konnte ich nicht widerstehen und wir haben DER pinken Tür einen Besuch abgestattet. Und – es ist kaum zu glauben – wie schon im Post von letzter Woche ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Tür mit den Kakteen davor perfekt zu einem weiteren meiner neuen Tory Burch Sommerkleider passt. Deshalb gibt es daher nach dem orangenen Kleid vor der orangenen Tür noch eine weitere Tür/Sommerkleid-Kombi. 🙂 Außerdem hätte ich hiermit meine Oma sehr glücklich gemacht, die tatsächlich nicht so geliebt hat wie Postkarten und Bilder von bunten Türen aus aller Welt 🙂 Dafür habe ich außer dem Tory Burch Kleid, in dessen Garden Party Print ich total verliebt bin, auch meine neuen Tory Burch Sneaker angezogen. Obwohl ich sonst nicht so viel Sneaker trage, haben diese es mir echt angetan! Durch die Rüschen und den Hauch von grün haben sie sowohl einen femininen als auch einen verspielten Touch und sind echt vielseitig zu kombinieren. Für Städtetrips sind Sneaker einfach genial und so hatte ich sie auch in LA schon häufig an! Besonders als Bruch zu dem leichten Kleid mit Print und der rosa Chanel Tasche haben sie mir besonders gut gefallen! Zusätzlich trage ich eine retro Sonnenbrille von “Sunday Somewhere”, die mich irgendwie an das alte Hollywood erinnert und daher unbedingt zu meinem Trip rund um Coachella mit musste. DIE pinke Tür war auf jeden Fall sehr beliebt und noch während wir vor Ort waren, kamen schon die nächsten “Interessierten”, die auf der Suche nach einem Instagram-Schnappschuss ware.;). Und auch wenn die pinke Tür ein persönlicher Traum für mein Heim und Hof wäre, muss man sich so des Risikos bewusst sein, dass man seinen Vorgarten nie wieder für sich alleine hätte! 😉 xx Leonie

Whenever I am location hunting, I love to just go for a stroll and let myself be inspired by what I find. However, if a place like Palm Springs has an “attraction” simply called “That pink door” with a Google ranking of 5/5, I cannot help but be intrigued. 😉 And since Palm Springs is quite small and we happened to live close by, I couldn’t resist but to check it out for myself. And – believe it or not – I realized that just like in last week’s post, I had a new Tory Burch dress to perfectly match the door with the cacti standing on either side. Thus I decided to create another post out of the series “summer dresses that match Palm Springs’ doors” matching the one of the orange dress in front of the orange door. (You cannot believe just how much my grandma would have appreciated this because all she ever wanted for post cards or paintings were colorful doors from all over the world! :)) I jumped into my Tory Burch dress (I am totally in love with its garden party print) and my Tory Burch sneakers that are still new. I don’t usually wear sneakers that often but I must say that I love these ones because the flouncy details and the hint of green give them such a feminine but also playful look and they are great to give an outfit a bit of a casual touch. I love wearing sneakers when I am exploring cities and I had already worn them quite a bit in LA. I think the sneakers nicely loosen up the combination of the light summer dress and the pink Chanel bag. 🙂 I can report, THAT pink door was truly in high demand and while we were shooting the outfit other bloggers lined up so that we had to hurry a bit. For what it’s worth I now know the drawbacks and dangers of painting your front door pink and might have to give up this life dream of mine. 😉 xx Leonie

Wow, die Location ist echt ein Traum! Und dein Kleid passt perfekt in die Kulisse! Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass diese Hotspots sehr beliebt sind und natürlich auch in der Zeit um Coachella einfach viele Blogger vor Ort sind. Toll, dass du deine Fotos dort bekommen hast!
