Getting lost in the maze | Venice

Getting lost in the maze | Venice

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: I loooove Italy! The people, the lifestyle, the cities, the weather – what is there not to love about this place?

*Anzeige

I’ve been to so many different places in Italy for example during our Italy round trip last year over my birthday (e.g. here and here) but there are few places I really feel like I can’t get enough of – One of these places is Venice. Venice is one of those cities that fascinates people (me among them) not simply because of its sights but because you can get so magically lost in them. The main alleys might be crowded with tourists but you only have to take a quick turn left or right and suddenly you are standing on a bridge all alone, walking through a deserted alley amongst beautiful old buildings or are forced to stop abruptly when the streets ends at an archway and only the canal lies in front of you. Venice is a maze that you never want to escape from. During one of those random strolls we found this little bridge where we took today’s pictures close to the Piazza San Marco. Luckily we had just stocked up on Italian road supply (meaning gelato of course) in case we got lost and traffic was heavier below the bridge than on it.;) I am wearing a new tunic blouse from Goodnight Macaroon that I love because of its lightness. Especially now that I am traveling so much, my favorite pieces are usually the ones that go with many different outfits and feel at home in different locations (just like me :)). There is a Flash Sale Tuesday on Goodnight Macaroon, where my top picks from the online shop amongst other items will be up to 50% off this coming Tuesday to Thursday. Make sure to stop by for a good bargain! 🙂 I combined the blouse with a pair of shorts from One Teaspoon, my Tory Burch sneakers, my huge Fendi sunnies and my summerly Tory Burch bag that you might have already spotted on my pictures from Palm Springs (here). I hope you like the outfit and that the pictures make you crave for summer and gelato! 🙂 xx Leonie
