My birthday trip to Hawaii is one of the most spontaneous trips I’ve ever had. After the Hamptons and LA (and also after the past quite intense weeks and months) Alex and I felt the urgent need for some relaxation. Even though a lot of our projects take us to amazing places, Alex and I do not spend a lot of time on getting rest. I cannot even picture Alex without his mobile phone or his laptop. 😛 As we didn’t pack any extra luggage – we were thinking about being home in Europe for my birthday – It was a 100% spontaneous idea to go to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii a few years ago when I felt heartbroken and these days on Hawaii are still some of the most memorable ones of my life…

After we made the final decision, I had two days to plan our trip and I was lucky when I found out that The Royal Hawaiian Hotel had availability. What shall I say, I might have a thing for pink places and the Royal Hawaiian is known is also known as “The Pink Palace of the Pacific”. As a big city child, I love the location of the hotel because it’s both in the heart of Honolulu and directly next to the beach (Waikikiiiii). So it’s just a few meters to all my fav food places and only a few meters to hop into the ocean! Also the Royal Hawaiian is super chic and I felt inspired to wear one of my favorite Caroline Constas dresses which is light, flowy and has a super cool palm tree print. I paired my new white Hermes sandals I got for my birthday (you know me so well, Alex ;)) and my latest straw bag by Cult Gaia. I’ve worn my first Cult Gaia bag 24/7 and I was happy to bring my latest Cult Gaia find for this spontaneous trip. I also paired some retro Ray Ban sunnies I shopped at Mister Spex. Can you see how I’m blending in with the palm trees of the hotel!?;) I’m just too excited about pink shades and palm trees…;) xx Leonie

Hawaii ist einfach so so unglaublich schön und ich freue mich noch mehr Bilder von dir auf den Inseln zu sehen! Wirklich cool, dass ihr die Möglichkeit hattet diesen Trip zu machen und wenn man dieses Outfit sieht, könnte man glatt denken, dass es für genau diesen Ort geplant war! 😀
Das Kleid ist wirklich ein Traum und die Farbe steht dir so so gut! Grün trägst du je relativ selten, dabei sieht es so toll aus und dann dieser luftige und elegante Schnitt *-* wunderschön!
Das Hotel hört sich ja ebenfalls nach genau deinen Vorlieben an und ich freu mich schon noch mehr davon zu sehen! 🙂
Natürlich wünsche ich euch aber auch eine sehr entspannte Zeit! Genießt es und macht nicht zuu viele Fotos 😀 Obwohl wir uns darüber natürlich immer freuen !
