#JETAPORTER | Megève

#JETAPORTER | Megève

When Net-A-Porter told me they were planning their first ever trip to snowy Megève during Christmas season, I couldn’t wait to be part of it. My Net-A-Porter adventure started with a Christmas party ‘Party with the Porters’ in London. London is one of my favorite places in Europe and I was happy to be back for the first time ever in December. We stayed at the EDITION London which was just around the corner of Oxford and Regent Street and all their beautiful Christmas decorations.

In the morning I was picked up for my first Private Jet experience ever, hosted by Victor Private Jet and Net-A-Porter. Net-A-Porter chartered the plane for their team, us bloggers and some journalist and we headed straight to Geneva. And I’m not over exaggerating when I tell you that it was the best food I’ve ever had in an air plane.;) Additionally, the NAP team surprised us with cozy blankets and pillows with out initials and some helpful goodies such as a silky sleeping mask.

When we arrived at the Alpaga Hotel close to Megève town, it was already dark but the hotel was super cozy! There was a fire place in the lobby and we were welcomed with roasted nuts and hot chocolate – so yummy! Entering our charming room, I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes. The NAP team surprised me with the most stylish and cozy winter wardrobe and there were surprises everywhere. You can find the whole blogger’s selection: here. I was honestly overwhelmed by the warm greeting and you probably saw all my super excited Insta stories unwrapping and discovering all the NAP treasures. I quickly changed for our first dinner before falling happily into bed – What an exciting first day!

The next morning I woke up early as it was time for a ski adventure. I only went skiing once (the Fendi trip earlier this year) and I was keen on being back in the snowy mountains again. NAP teamed up with Perfect Moment Sports so all of us were wearing sporty yet stylish ski gear. You can find out more about the skiing day as well as all the outfit details: here. This time I decided not to take a ski class but listen to the best teacher ever, Alex!:) we quickly refreshed  what I was taught half a year ago and made it down a mini slope!;) it was so much fun and after getting a little cold, we went to the Fitz Roy Hotel for a warm and filling lunch. When we arrived back at the hotel, Alex and I warmed up with a hot coffee while getting some work organized. I was a little sleepy after all the snow sport action and happy to spend the evening in a little Chalet where we had a fondue with the NAP team.

The second day started super relaxed. Alex and I had breakfast in the room and organized my wardrobe before heading to a helicopter flight above the snowy Montblanc! It’s a bit surreal that my first heli flight was exactly one year ago in Panama and ever since Alex and I had so many cool heli tours around the world (Panama, Dubai, Greece, Australia, Hawaii & Hongkong). As an adrenaline junkie I’m super excited about the fact and I always get big ears when there is a heli involved. The heli flight above the snowy mountains was truly something very special! We had beautiful blue skies and flew really close to some snowy peaks. You can read more about the heli tour: here. Afterwards we headed back to the hotel for a quick lunch and a short dip into the hot tub tank. It was such a cold day with temperatures of about -15 degrees and it was super hot in the tank and I could have stayed for hours (theoretically, my pulse stated to bump like crazy after a little while!).  When the sun was starting to go down, Alex and I spontaneously took a shuttle to Megève town and had a walk through the winterly white streets. After two hours we were so frozen and had to go back just in time to get ready for a special evening with Piaget. The evening started with cocktails in the Chalet while getting to know all about the stunning pieces which are available at Net-A-Porter. I was allowed to choose some special eye catchers  of the Net-A-Porter x Piaget assortment to wear for dinner. The dinner took place at Le Table, the Micheline-Star restaurant of the Alpaga hotel and the food was just unbelievable! It was such a beautiful ending of an amazing trip with NAP and we totally forgot the time, talking and eating and just enjoying ourselves. Before ending the last night, we had a late shoot for Piaget.

On the next day Alex and I organized our things and had a yumm breakfast before saying good bye to beautiful Megève and the cozy Alpaga hotel. Victor Private Jet had another exciting flight experience planned for us and we had the best and most convenient flight back to London and home to Hamburg. Thank you so much Net-A-Porter and the whole team (especially Fiona, Astrid, Alex & Beccy) for organizing the most amazing trip AND for being so fun and friendly and making me feel like being part of the family <3! It’s been truly an unforgettable time!
