Hi loves! I hope it’s been a productive week and that you’re all looking forward to a relaxing weekend! For this week’s ‘Friday Favourites’ I wanted to tone the palette down slightly and incorporate some warm neutrals such as khaki and camel for timelessly chic style.
I received this amazing cashmere set by Magda Butrym this week which gave me all the inspo for this week’s selection. They have such wonderful knitwear at the moment and I would happily add all of it to my wardrobe given the chance! I love how the padded shoulders add a touch of drama to the otherwise cosy outfit when paired with the matching shorts. If you wanted a slightly smarter look you could also style the jumper with these Frankie Shope tailored pants, the paper bag waistband is perfect for adding definition to your waist while still keeping things minimal.
I also wanted to include this top by Jonathan Simkhai as the cutout detail across the chest is quite unusual but I think it would also work really well with the Magda Butrym shorts and a pair of Valentino Sandals. For this outfit, I’d add oversized accessories like these Saint Laurent Sunglasses, or a padded Kassl Editions bag to play around with the proportions and add surprising elements.
With warmer weather hopefully on the way, I’m also getting ready for mule season! Have you seen the new Gia Couture x Rosie Huntington Whiteley collaboration? The collection echoes Rosie’s sophisticated style with a variety of leather and suede designs. If you prefer to add a little height then these tan-plaited leather mules with toe detail are a great option. They would look so cool with floaty summer dresses or even a track pant set and crop top look!
