If you have been following me for a while you may have noticed that blazers are a real passion of mine and I have built up quite the collection over the years! For me, they really are a wardrobe staple as they can be worn pretty much anywhere, be it a casual day out, to the office or adding a sleek tuxedo style for an evening event. I have blazers in an assortment of colours and silhouettes so thought I would share a breakdown of my current favourites to infuse your wardrobe wishlist with a rainbow of blazer inspiration.
The most popular blazer fits are single-breasted or double-breasted as both are universally flattering and the choice between the two ultimately comes down to selecting one with details that accent your body shape the best. I personally think you can’t beat an oversized blazer, some of my faves include the Jacquemus ‘Homme Blazer and this beautiful light green Acne Studios blazer but I would always suggest a balance of proportions, if you have a smaller frame try not to go too oversized as it may be slightly overwhelming. To combat this, blazers with structural details like shoulder pads (think 80’s power shoulder vibes) like this Fuschia blazer by the Attico are great for adding both shape and drama.

Depending on the season you may want to think about the fabrication of your blazers – wool blazers like this brown Lou Lou Studio blazer and this Wardrobe NYC blazer are perfect for autumnal dressing or spring days when there is still a slight chill in the air.

When it comes to summer you can still of course still wear blazers (never fear)! A linen style is a great light option for those warmer days and although there may be a little creasing, the natural fibre will keep you cool and more importantly, super chic ;). This beige option by Remain Birger Christensen or yellow Max Mara blazer are amazing options to check out!
