TOP 10 BAG COLLECTION

TOP 10 BAG COLLECTION

Forget diamonds – bags are a girl’s true best friend, right? I always think bags are a great investment as they don’t go out of fashion or wear out in the same way as clothing or even shoes and there are always options to suit all budgets. Whether you’re looking for luxury designer bag or new emerging designer bag inspo, I’ve put together a small selection of some of my favourite options that I think are worth your consideration!

First up, I’ve shown the Eera ‘moon bag’ a couple of times on the blog and highly recommend it for its compact shape which is still able to hold the essentials. It features a unique carabiner handle that Eera have woven throughout all of their products, made iconic by their Chiara earring. A bright coloured bag really lifts any look and is perfect for the upcoming summer season!

Now for a fun little mixture of brands! If you’re not a massive fan of the classic Chanel flap bag, I would suggest giving the square mini flap in a bold colour a go as it’s super wearable for every day and I feel this style has a cool and modern vibe (I actually have it in this colour too ;)). Talking of green, I recently received this gorgeous new Prada Cleo which is such a lovely shoulder bag and I’m just completely in love with the pistachio mint colour!

BY Far have such cute bags in lovely bright and fun colours – how good is this candy-striped option? They are such easy additions to elevate any outfit, even if you decide to be super casual and wear sweatpants and a hoodie. I also have this Amber Croco effect hobo bag on my wishlist! Do you tend to go for colourful bags or prefer to keep them classic and neutral?

Balenciaga is one of my fave brands for accessories as they infuse every look with extra edge. I’ve played around with various colours and sizes of their iconic ‘hourglass’ bag but so far, the aqua blue (I particularly love how the hardware matches the leather colour) and XXS size croc neon green were my favourite to style. It’s a tough decision between the mini and medium size but I slightly love the mini more, especially when worn as a crossbody which is super practical and easy to style.

If you prefer a larger style bag, perhaps the medium size hourglass bag is the one for you, but there are also other amazing options out there Dior’s Lady Dior – one of my forever favourites. It has created such a legacy in the Dior house ever since its introduction in 1995 and has been wonderful to see its evolution into the modern day. It really is the most versatile bag for work, casual wear or evening attire and although it’s definitely an investment piece, it’s one that you will no doubt make wear time and time again.

Some people may find the Lady Dior a little too feminine for every day and if that’s the case for you, I have a great alternative: the Valentino Garavani Roman stud bag. It’s fun, modern and it comes in multiple colours, plus the stud work really adds that perfect edgy touch without being too overwhelming.

I think by now you guys know how much I love Bottega Veneta and Jacquemus so of course I had to include options from both brands here! Bottega Veneta has so many ‘It’ bags from the padded cassette to the pouch and lately I’ve been really loving the Jodie bag in this beautiful peach as well as the more classic chain pouch. Their colour ranges are second to none in their accessories so there really is a perfect shade for everyone! The same goes for Jacquemus and the Chiquito bag. Even though it may not always be the most practical choice, I have a selection of the adorable Mini Chiquito but this neutral tone version is a more versatile styling option.

Lastly, I couldn’t finish this post without giving a shoutout to Boyy and this dreamy padded tote. It’s the perfect bag for travel or the office, you can fit so much into and it’s super on-trend with the oversized buckle detail. You can wear it open or closed depending on your mood but I think there’s something quite chic and effortless with it being left open.
