CHANEL COCO BEACH

CHANEL COCO BEACH

There’s nothing I love to wear and style more during the summer than swimsuits. There is something so stylish and timeless about a one-piece for the beach, especially when it’s Chanel! I was really excited to wear and shoot two incredible Chanel pieces from the Chanel Coco Beach 2021 collection which is described as an “easy-to-wear collection infused with sunshine” and became available on the 14th of June, so don’t miss your chance to add one of their stunning pieces to your summer 2021 holiday wardrobe! 🙂 You can find the beautiful campaign imagined by Virginie Viard starring singer and Chanel ambassador Angèle: here.

Even though the two looks I wore from the SS21 #CHANELCocoBeach collection are completely different, they are both so chic (in true Chanel style!). Personally, I think they can be worn effortlessly, light and free for the beach or you can style them up as I did when taking pictures in our hotel with the stunning Ibiza backdrop.

For the first look, I decided to keep things minimal and monochrome, in keeping with the sleek design of this one-shouldered black swimsuit. Here, I added my Chanel statement logo earrings, bucket hat and oversized sunnies. This sunglass style is named the ‘butterfly’ and actually has tiny sequins on the frames which sparkle when the sunlight catches them.

I also loved experimenting with the styling of my belt bag for this outfit. If you look closely, you may be able to see that these are actually two separate Chanel pieces: my tweed belt bag which I unclipped from its original leather belt and added to my crystal diamante skinny logo belt. I think it worked out so well as the black swimsuit is quite feminine given the bow detail, so the original block-coloured belt bag could have been too heavy for the look on its own. What do you guys think?

The second swimsuit look I styled was this summer cut-out printed one in a navy and white colourway. For casual day trips out, I would pair this with white distressed denim shorts and layer with an oversized white shirt. I love how the print incorporates not only the interlocking ‘CC’ logo but also the iconic Chanel camellia flower, so there are multiple special details that catch your eye.

Let me know which of the Chanel Coco Beach pieces is your favourite! xx Leonie
