This week, I really wanted to explore the principles of tailored pieces for the summer season. As you might have seen from my summer suit styling post, I love to incorporate more structured pieces into casual-chic outfits. They can be styled in so many different ways so I would recommend opting for a higher quality piece that you can wear time and time again (which helps to justify the investment!). The Frankie Shop is a great place to start if you are looking for good quality fabrics and reasonable price points for your tailored wardrobe staples.

Speaking of The Frankie Shop, I recently spotted these classic tailored white pants with a crisp pleat down the centre which elongates the leg. They would look amazing cinched in with a belt like this one from Saint Laurent to add contrast and definition, as well as this muted sage green blazer (also by The Frankie Shop). These kind of boyfriend style blazers are so comfortable and always look so effortlessly chic in a sort of model-off-duty streetstyle way.
I’ve also included some chocolate brown leather shoes by GIA X Pernille Teisbaek. The thong toe detail intertwined with the chunky strap offers a modern take on the classic mule. Speaking of new takes, have you seen the new Fendi monogram? It’s called the ‘Vertigo Jacquard’ and is a nod to a 60’s style psychedelic print. This fresh iteration of Fendi’s iconic ‘FF’ monogram is so cool and am already predicting that it will become a new vintage must-have in the future! If you want to get your hands on it now, there are loads of pieces in the collection but I particularly love the simplicity and timelessness of this clutch bag.
To complete this week’s wishlist look, I’ve included this gold pair of chunky hoop earrings from Jennifer Fisher which are so on-trend right now and would go with any outfit. I’d also add cat-eye Valentino Garavani sunnies and a touch of Huda Beauty’s highlighter as the final touches.
