It’s crazy that in a few days we will be in September, where has the time gone?! As much as I love summer stylings, I always get excited when a change in season is approaching and have been starting to think about a few transitional autumnal looks already.
September is always a funny month as the weather is unpredictable in both of my home cities, London & Hamburg – trying to dress for all eventualities can be tricky. I find that lightweight layering is the best tactic: knits like this Max Mara ribbed tank and a lightweight trench like this khaki one from Ganni are ideal.
For warmer, dryer days, I’d still incorporate light tones by way of these white balloon shaped Totême jeans and L’etoile cap, which would add a sports-luxe element to the look. To finish things off, I’d add black suede sandals by The Row. The ‘grandad sandal’ has been such a huge trend this year and these are a great, sleek option if you wanted to give it a go.
