WOW… What a collection from Alexandre Vauthier! Even though I couldn’t be there in person this time I was still absolutely blown away watching digitally. The stunning puffball-style dresses and Vauthier’s take on the power suit were definitely highlights for me.
I also really loved the exaggerated lapels and the alluring contrast of textures such as velvet and satin, as well as the perfect balancing of traditional masculine and feminine fashion elements.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a couture show without incredible gowns and this season truly did not disappoint. This collection had it all: sequins, feathers, fringing, cut-outs, and everything was perfectly combined.
