I always find it so satisfying to curate my accessories or fashion month and although I often go for fun, bright pieces, I’m also partial to statement monochrome accessories – particularly when they have an interesting design element like an unexpected silhouette.
I’ve really enjoyed adding a number of cool, edgy, bold and black shoe styles to my NYFW as I feel like they go so well with the city aesthetic, which is perfect for streetstyle shoots. A couple of my faves so far are these dramatic over-the-knee boot from Amina Muaddi and these graphic wedge heels from The Attico. Of course, your footwear of choice doesn’t need to be quite as statement as these – a classic pair of Saint Laurent patent boots or platform heels can just as easily add a chic touch to any outfit.
