Three days in the Maldives might sound crazy BUT we only had a tiny timeframe between fashion month and a big campaign and I knew my body needed some Vitamin D and Vitamin Sea and I wanted to get my head out of what felt like a fashion bubble and to reconnect with my body, spirit, and Alex!
As I absolutely love the Maldives and we’ve become quite pro with travelling I had the idea to get from Dubai with a relatively short flight to Male and book a resort which is around the area for a short speedboat journey instead of a seaplane one! We already knew some stunning resorts in the area but our friends from “Maledivenreisen” recommended Huvafen Fushi, a stunning natural and authentic island very close to the airport. It took us roughly 30 minutes by speedboat and we arrived in paradise! We booked an overwater villa as being surrounded by the ocean feels so free to me and we had a short but unforgettable stay!
I always love to share some holiday looks so here we go! As I finally got my hands on a YSL raffia beach bag, I had to wear it as much as possible! I paired brown shades, a Celine bikini top and bottoms, and oversized YSL shades. Sleek swimwear is a must and I love how chic this cut-out swimsuit from South Swim is. Another look I loved was my white Alexis dress I found at Ounass when I was in Dubai! White is so so dreamy in the Maldives so I also ended up wearing a Selezza London dress with a beautiful cape for a romantic underwater dinner for two in our resort!
