It’s time for an overview of the key trends that will be filtering through from the runway this season!
First up: Athleisurewear. For those of you with a more casual vibe who value comfort above all else, this trend is for you! From Miu Miu debuting their viral mini skirt, statement sweaters, shorts, sport luxe trainers and sandals.
Micro shorts are back, especially tailored styles as shown on the catwalk by Dolce and Gabbana. These work so well with an oversized blazer for a slightly more ‘wearable’ look. Billowy white dresses were also featured a lot, standout brands for this were Valentino and Stella McCartney in my opinion. Style with statement accessories and even introduce a pop of colour for a more spring/summer mood.
I also spotted a lot of high-waisted trousers and sheer skirts, both of which create such flattering silhouettes. Top tip: add a chic belt to really define your look. Which of these trends are you likely to try out?
