What to Watch: Best TV Shows

To keep you entertained this weekend – and for the next few weeks of staying in – I thought I’d share the TV shows I’m currently obsessed with! I’ve also included a few classics that I love to rewatch, including comedies and nostalgic teen dramas. I hope this post introduces you to at least a couple of programmes you’ve never seen before, so you can enjoy them for the very first time!

Money Heist

I’m addicted to this crime drama, it’s about a group of criminal masterminds trying to pull off a massive heist and it will definitely keep you on the edge of your seats!

Stranger Things

The daily lives of the characters in Stranger Things are bizarre and out of this world, but I love the bond of friendship between all the kids. It’s so endearing that you almost forget they’re fighting off evil.

Jane The Virgin

Ok you guys know I find this show so cute! It’s really well written and there are many tear-jerking moments as you watch Jane try to navigate her unexpected pregnancy.

Lucifer

What happens when the devil moves to LA? He runs a club and starts helping the police to solve crime in his own unique way, obviously ;).

Nostalgic Shows

Sex and The City

This is a classic and should be at the top of your list, always. No explanation needed. If you haven’t seen SATC, watch it now!! Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe is pure perfection.

Gossip Girl

The girls from the Upper East Side can be so mean but their sense of style and the amazing parties they attend are always worth watching!

The O.C.

I really wanted to live in Newport after watching this when it first came out! So much teen drama but it makes for an addictive show.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Even if vampire dramas and teenage love stories aren’t your thing, Buffy will definitely impress you with how cool she is and her amazing fighting skills.

Shows To Make You Laugh

Friends

Do I even need to tell you guys what Friends it about?! It’s exactly the kind of programme you can watch 100 times over but it never gets old.

The Big Bang Theory

This show is so cute and nerdy. It always makes me laugh how the guys are super intelligent but totally clueless when it comes to their personal lives!

Modern Family

There are so many different characters in Modern Family, I guarantee that you’ll relate to at least one of them. Whether it’s the grumpy Grandpa, the rebellious teenagers, or the Mum trying to balance family and work!

Santa Clarita Diet

IMDB had such good ratings for this show that I decided I had to check it out! Drew Barrymore plays the Mum who turns into a vampire and it’s hilarious watching her family try to figure out their new lives.
