It seems to be a tough question for us women. Somehow we are always ending up, seeing only things that are “different” – Not realizing, that “different” is what makes us all individual and special. Sometimes I find myself looking at editorial pictures, admiring the coolness of other women in fashion. Still, when looking at pictures of myself, I love to see those pictures which are full of energy. Because that’s who I am. I’ve never been the coolest person around, but I’ve always had a huge smile and a hearty laugh. With these thoughts on my mind I found today’s quote about beauty and it made me smile. Just because I can totally relate to it. For me the quote is about inner beauty and about being authentic. Life would be even more beautiful if we stop questioning ourselves and use our valuable time to build up our strength! We should immediately give it a try…;)

Besides these words about today’s positive vibes, I have a few thoughts about today’s outfit: Yes, I’m still totally addicted to knit wear! I found the graphic cardigan some time ago and thought I would have to wait for the next autumn / winter season to wear it again. Well, that’s when I had the idea to wear it with a light blouse and my knitted pants, trying to make the cardigan fit into spring! Did you even notice that it’s a classical winter piece? Was mögt ihr eigentlich an euch am liebsten? Eine Frage, die uns Frauen meistens gar nicht so richtig in den Kram passt. Der Blick fällt viel zu schnell auf alles, was “anders” ist. So ertappe ich mich beispielsweise hin und wieder dabei, wie ich mir Modebilder angucke und dabei die unnahbare Coolness so mancher Modepersönlichkeit bewundere. Doch wenn ich mir Look Bilder von mir selbst ansehe, dann bleibe ich automatisch an den Bildern hängen, auf denen ich lache. Denn diese Bilder fühlen sich nach mir an. Ich war immer eher die Grinsebacke als die coolste im Club – Und das ist auch gut so! 😉 Als ich dann den Spruch gefunden habe, mit dem ich den heutigen Post eingeleitet habe, musste ich innerlich schmunzeln. Es steckt einfach so viel Wahres drin. Und es geht dabei nicht nur um äußere Schönheit, sondern auch um innere Schönheit, um Authentizität. Wie schön wäre es, wenn wir weniger Zeit damit verbringen würden unsere Fehler zu bewundern und diese Zeit dafür nutzen würden unsere Stärken zu stärken? Warum nicht gleich morgen damit anfangen!? 😉

Neben diesen Worten rund um die positiven Vibes des heutigen Looks noch ein paar kurze Gedanken zum Look: Ja, ich gestehe – Ich bin noch immer total im Strick-Wahn! Den grafischen Cardigan habe ich mir im tiefsten Winter gekauft und ich dachte, ich könnte ihn erst im nächsten Herbst / Winter so richtig ausführen. Doch dann hatte ich die Idee ihn frühlingshaft zu interpretieren und habe ihn mit meiner Strickhose und einer leichten Bluse kombiniert! Wäre euch aufgefallen, dass es eigentlich ein winterliches Teil ist?
