Shades of khaki and grey

I don’t have to many designer pieces in my wardrobe, but last sale season I invested in a metallic pair of Gianvito Rossi heels (with 70% discount ;)). Ever since I like to try different combinations with these special heels, as they add a glamorous twist to so many looks. Due to their metallic appearance they are rather khaki not grey and, therefore, I combine them with all those shades. I was wearing them with khaki and black in “Turtleneck situation” and with grey shades in “OC x Drykorn“

Today I decided to expand the range of color combinations and combined my favorite heels with both khaki and grey. And when looking at today’s pictures, I think I can get used to the color mix. In order to wear this look at colder temperatures, I add skinny leather pants and exchange the heels for high ankle booties. I tested the idea during an evening event last week and it also worked! 🙂  As I’m still not done with getting everything organized for my Asia travels, I have to close my laptop for today, wishing all of you a happy weekend! 🙂 xx Leonie

Bisher habe ich in meinem Leben selten in Designer Teile investiert. Die Gianvito Rossi Heels habe ich mir im letzten Sale gegönnt, als sie um 70% reduziert waren. Und immer wieder merke ich wie sehr ich mich über die besonderen Fund freue! Die Schnürr-Heels sind aufgrund der leicht metallischen Optik weder grau noch khaki und passen daher zu verschiedensten Looks. Ich habe sie bereits mit khaki und schwarz bei “Turtleneck Situation” oder auch mit fließenden Grautönen in “OC x Drykorn” kombiniert – heute gibt es ein “best of both words”: khaki UND grau! Die Farb-Kombi habe ich bisher erst selten probiert, aber wenn ich mir jetzt die Bilder ansehe, finde ich die Farben sehr harmonisch zusammen. Und wenn es kälter ist, trage ich unter dem Kleid eine enge Lederhose und tausche die Heels gegen hohe Ankle Boots aus! Da ich noch immer nicht mit den Urlaubsvorbereitungen fertig bin mache ich schnell den Laptop zu und wünsche euch ein großartiges Wochenende! 🙂 xx Leonie
