MONDAY UPDATE #5

R E V I E W: I spent the last week in London. Although I had been to London several times during the last year, it was a first that I had some spare time to explore the city.

Our hotel was situated in Camden close to the ASOS headquarters and right next to the Euston train station, from where you can take a train into the city center in no time at all. Next to several meetings with ASOS I had some time to meet friends, try new restaurants, and be a proper tourist for once. 🙂 There was one place I enjoyed especially much: the Café Name. The café is placed in Notting Hill and serves Raw Artisan cuisine. We had avocado and banana Rawtella Toasties and it was so delicious! Although the portions didn’t really satisfy my stomach, it was a nice meal. 🙂 I also visited Le Pain Quotidien at the Oxford Circus with my friend Tamara. Despite the fact that the restaurant belongs to a chain (I’ve been to their restaurants before, e.g. in Paris) I liked it a lot and they had avocado on the menu – that’s all that counts! 🙂 Once more, what impressed me most about London was Notting Hill. This week I had some time to stroll along Portobello Road and I was simply amazed by this beautiful corner of London.

P L A N S: From now on up to April there will be only few moments to catch my breath. After I came back from London I only spent a short Saturday in Hamburg and packed my suitcase for the next two stops: first Jamaica and then Milan. I am on Jamaica for what is most likely one of the most exciting projects I have done so far. Together with other bloggers from Spain, France and the US I will be part of a photo and video campaign for sunglasses. I’m always excited right before a big project but this time I am especially nervous but thrilled because I will go on this far away trip without Alex. I would have loved to stay on Jamaica a bit longer to see more of the island but I need to be in Milan on Wednesday because of a great project with Guess. In Milan I will have Alex back on my side as usual and we will spend the rest of the week in bella Italia! After Milan there is going to be more travelling and I will tell you plenty about it next Monday at the latest 🙂 On Jamaica I will have a tight schedule but I will try to keep you updated over Snapchat.

N E W  I N: Whenever I spend time with ASOS, I fall in love with a new piece! This time it is this amazing and special pair of over-knee boots that I have been eyeing for a while now. Up until this week they had always been sold out, but this time I got lucky. 🙂 Also, I was already in the mood for Jamaica and I fell for a summer dress with great lace-up details and a beautiful metallic bag. I linked these favorits of mine and a great light denim jacket as well as a cosy sweater in my ohhcouture boutique. 🙂 I hope you had a great start into the new week and I am sending you sunny greetings from Jamaica! R E V I E W: Die letzte Woche habe ich in London verbracht. Obwohl ich im letzten Jahr einige Male in London war, hatte ich bei diesem Besuch endlich etwas mehr Zeit die Stadt zu erkunden. Unser Hotel war in Camden in der Nähe vom ASOS Headquarter und direkt an der Euston Bahnstadion, von der aus man wahnsinnig schnell ins Centrum von London kommt. Neben einigen Terminen mit ASOS konnte ich auch etwas Zeit mit Freundinnen verbringen, neue Restaurants ausprobieren und ein bisschen Tourist sein. 🙂 Besonders gut hat mir das Café Name gefallen. Das Café ist in Notting Hill und serviert Raw Artisan Küche. Wir hatten Avocado und Bananen Rawtella Toasties und es war unheimlich lecker. Ich war zwar nicht lange satt, aber es war trotzdem ein schöner Restaurantbesuch. 🙂 Ansonsten habe ich beispielsweise mit meiner Freundin Tamara das Le Pain Quotidien beim Oxford Circus besucht. Obwohl das Restaurant zu einer Kette gehört und ich bspw. schon einmal ein Restaurant in Paris besucht habe, hat mir das Le Pain Quotidien echt gut gefallen, da die Lage so unheimlich super war und es kam Avokado – Das ist die Hauptsache! 🙂  Besonders gut hat mir wieder einmal Notting Hill gefallen. Zum ersten Mal bin ich auch ein wenig die Portobello Road entlang geschlendert und war einfach nur begeistert von dieser schönen Ecke Londons.

P L A N S: Bis zum April überschlagen sich die Ereignisse. Diese Woche war ich nach London nur kurz am Samstag zu Hause und habe meinen Koffer für die nächsten zwei Ziele gepackt. Diese Woche geht es für mich erst nach Jamaika und dann direkt weiter nach Mailand. Jamaika ist eins der aufregendsten Projekte, an denen ich bisher gearbeitet habe. Gemeinsam mit anderen Bloggern aus Spanien, Frankreich und den USA Shooten und Filmen wir eine Sonnenbrillen-Kampagne. Ich bin eh immer ziemlich aufgeregt, aber dieses Mal ganz besonders, weil ich die weite reise ausnahmsweise ohne Alex antrete. Am liebsten wäre ich natürlich noch etwas länger geblieben, um Jamaika zu erkunden, aber am Mittwoch geht es für mich bereits nach Mailand, wo ich an einem Projekt mit Guess arbeite. In Mailand habe ich dann auch wieder Alex dabei und wir werden den Rest der Woche noch in Bella Italia bleiben. Danach geht es dann gleich aufregend weiter und ich werde euch spätestens nächsten Monat noch mehr davon erzählen. 🙂 In Jamaika erwartet mich ein sehr straffer Zeitplan, aber ich werde euch versuchen so gut es geht über Snapchat mitzunehmen.

N E W  I N: Immer wenn ich bei ASOS bin, vergucke ich mich in einige neue Teile! Dieses Mal habe ich mich in diese unheimlich besonderen Overknees verguckt, die ich schon eine ganze Weile suche. Bisher waren sie immer ausverkauft, aber dieses Mal hatte ich Glück. 🙂 Außerdem war ich schon in Jamaika Stimmung und hab mich in ein sommerliches Kleid mit tollem Lace-Up Detail und eine wunderschöne metallische Tasche mit tollen Details verliebt. Ich habe euch diese neuen Lieblinge sowie eine tolle leichte Denim Jacke und einen kuscheligen Pulli in meiner kleinen ohhcouture Boutique verlinkt. 🙂
