We shot today’s pictures spontaneously when we were at my favorite riad: Le Jardin Secret.

I love this riad for numerous reasons. One of them is the fact that its walls have the most beautiful shade of terracotta and pink. Another is its amazing breakfast! While we were in Marrakech this time, Le Jardin Secret was unfortunately completely booked. However, we asked whether we could come by for breakfast one morning. Next to the super tasty menu with acai and chia bowls, there is always a fresh surprise according to the season. This morning we got a carved out watermelon filled with fruits. Since it was water melon season in Morocco at that time, it was not only a feast for the eyes but also for the taste buds! For the occasion I wore a white off-shoulder Faithfull the Brand dress and my Cult Gaia bag. Like most times I am not wearing a lot of jewelry. However, one thing I love and can’t go without is my rings. I love to combine several rings and have written about it before (here). To that means I have a whole selection of Pandora rings that I combine according to my mood and the occasion. The recent DO Pandora campaign is all about self-empowerment of women. Show who you are and what you can do, don’t hide yourself! Don’t wait for your life to change, change it! DO! I love the campaign most likely because it is so much in terms with what I have thought about and what has driven me in those past years working on my dream: Ohh Couture. However, the rings always remind me to treat myself to something special as a reward for all the hard work – may it be a ring, may it be a little break! 😉 Working hard I don’t mind sometimes skipping a dinner or eating it front of my laptop. But a meal I cannot go without is breakfast. Breakfast is more of an event than just food to me, and gives both my body and my soul new energy for the day! And what better way to recharge than with a watermelon bowl of fruits at this beautiful riad?! Xx Leonie

Die heutigen Bilder sind ganz spontan entstanden und zwar in meinem Lieblingsriad: dem Le Jardin Secret. Ich liebe dieses Riad aus vielerlei Gründen. Einer davon sind die schönen terracotta-pinken Wände, ein anderer das großartige Frühstück. Während unserer Zeit in Marrakech war das Le Jardin Secret leider komplett ausgebucht, aber wir haben angefragt, ob wir einmal zum Frühstück vorbeikommen könnten. Neben dem sowieso super leckeren Menü mit Acai und sogar Chia Bowls, gibt es jeden Morgen eine frische Überraschung. An diesem Morgen bekamen wir zu unserem Frühstück eine ausgehöhlte Melone, die mit Früchten gefüllt war. Da in Marokko gerade Melonenzeit war, war das nicht nur ein Augenschmaus sondern einfach nur super lecker! 🙂 Auf den Bildern trage ich ein weißes off-shoulder Kleid von Faithfull the Brand und eine Tasche von Cult Gaia. Dazu trage ich wie meist nur wenig Schmuck. Was ich aber liebe und worüber ich daher auch schon häufiger geschrieben habe, ist das Kombinieren mehrerer Ringe (mehr dazu: hier). Daher habe ich eine ganz Sammlung Pandora Ringe, die ich nach Lust und Laune kombiniere. Die aktuellen DO Pandora Kollektion ruft Frauen zur Selbstemanzipation auf. Zeig wer du bist und was du kannst, versteck dich nicht! Warte nicht darauf, dass sich dein Leben ändert, sondern ändere es. DO! Ich liebe diese Kampagne, weil ich in ihr viel von dem wiedererkenne, was mich in den letzten Jahren beschäftigt und motiviert hat. Die Ringe erinnern mich daran, was ich in den letzten Jahren erreicht habe, aber auch daran, mir selber etwas zu gönnen – sei es ein schöner Ring, oder auch mal eine Pause. 😉 Ich habe in letzter Zeit sehr viel gearbeitet und ich lasse auch mal das eine oder andere Abendessen ausfallen oder verbringe es vor dem Laptop. Frühstück hingegen ist für mich mehr als nur eine Mahlzeit, sondern ein Wohlfühlevent. Eine verdiente Pause für geleistete Arbeit und neue Energie für Seele und Körper für den neuen Tag! Und wie könnte man besser Energie tanken, als mit einer Wassermelonenschüssel voller Früchte in diesem schönen Riad?! Xx Leonie

diese Kampagne ist einer meiner liebsten, nicht nur die Ringe sind wunderschön filigran sondern die Message dahinter finde ich einfach toll. Das Riad sieht wirklich traumhaft aus! Wenn ich das leckere Essen sehe läuft mir sofort das Wasser im Mund zusammen 😀 Zum Glück gibt es bei uns jetzt auch schon Melone, Erdbeeren und Pfirsiche, meine Lieblingsfrüchte.

Ich bin so neidisch !! Es sieht so wunderschön aus, das ich es um so mehr bereue das wir damals nur einen Tagesausflug nach Marrakech gemacht haben 🙁 Uns ist so viel entgangen, naja.. immerhin mehr Gründe doch noch mal für länger hinzureisen 🙂
