There are few places I’ve visited so far that are as beautiful and photogenic as Marrakech (read all about my love story with Marrakech: here).

That is why I am always especially happy when I can show you pictures from my favorite spots in this beautiful city! Here comes an outfit that we shot at the inner courtyard of the La Mamounia on our way to the spa. It was such a beautiful day (as nearly always in Marrakech) and sun light was flooding the courtyard! One thing that I love about Marrakech is that it has two faces: there are so many exotic places to explore and you can feel like a proper adventurer but there are also the beautiful riads and nice restaurants and you can dress up a little if you want to. Under the theme “from night to day” Mime et moi has developed shoes that seem perfect for trips like this with limited suitcase space: shoes with exchangeable heels. 😉 Sounds crazy at first but it is true! I tested the shoes for the first time in Marrakech and must say that I was surprised! The fit of the shoe wouldn’t have let you guess that it could be both heel and flat. Unter allen Orten, die ich bis jetzt besucht habe, gibt es kaum einen, den ich so liebe und der so fotogen ist wie Marrakech (lest das ganze Marrakech Liebesgeständnis: hier). Und so freue ich mich sehr, dass ich heute wieder ein paar Bilder aus Marrakech für euch habe. Die Fotostrecke haben wir im Innenhof des La Mamounias geschossen auf dem Weg ins Spa. Es war wie meist in Marrakech ein wunderschöner Tag und der Innenhof war ganz sonnendurchflutet und das Licht zum Fotografieren wirklich wunderschön! Eine Sache, die mir an Marrakech so sehr gefällt, ist das die Stadt zwei Gesichter hat. Zum einen gibt es so viele aufregende, exotische Orte, die man so richtig exploren kann, zum anderen gibt es die wunderschönen Riads und Restaurants, in denen man sich auch etwas in Schale werfen kann. Mime et moi hat unter dem Motto „Vom Tag zur Nacht“ innovative Schuhe entwickelt, die gerade für Reisen an solche Orte und bei begrenztem Reisegepäck perfekt sind: ein Schuh mit austauschbaren Absätzen. 😉 Klingt erst einmal unfassbar, ist aber tatsächlich so! Ich habe die Schuhe in Marrakech erstmals getestet und muss wirklich sagen, dass man dem Fit des Schuhs gar nicht angemerkt hat, dass er mal flach, mal hoch sein kann.
