I can’t even remember how old I was when I slipped into the living room to secretly join my big sister and her friends watching Cluless on tv and it’s been multiple times that I’ve watched the movie again and again and again, al least 15 times! Therefore, there are quite a few scenes I know by heart – One of them was the moment when Cher got robbed and was supposed to lay on the ground but she refused because she was wearing ‘Alaïa – Its like a really important designer’. 😉 Nowadays, when thinking about Alaïa, the first thing that pops in mind are the amazing pieces with signature laser cut. As an almost lifelong fan of the brand (as I said – I can’t remember the exact age ;)), I feel lucky to show you some of my favorite Alaïa pieces which are available at Net-A-Porter: Wide, swinging pants and a white blouse with so much love to the details. Alex and I shot the pictures during or short stay in Cape Town in Bo-Kaap – One of the most vibrant areas I’ve ever seen!
