Ohh Couture matcha stop with Regina Pyo bag in NY

When heading to NY for the Veuve Polo classics, the weather forecast was not looking promising at all. Rain and even more rain paired with some thunderstorms. Imagine my happiness when despite all forecasts (I checked at least four different weather websites – big fan here!) the weather turned out to be perfectly fine and even more than that: we had summer in NY! We stayed at the Grand Soho hotel in Soho and on our last day in NY we realized that  our hotel had a complimentary bike rental. And even though NY is the busiest city I know, it was so much fun cruising around my favorite areas, stopping at all my favorite places such as the Matchabar.

I`ve never really liked Matcha until a few days ago when I had too much coffee in already but really craved a fun iced drink and tried an Iced Almond Vanilla Matcha which was sooooo good! It tasted a bit like liquid marzipan, so so yummy. We stopped to take some pictures around the Seamore’s restaurant (mainly a seafood place) and I loved the cute writing they had in front of the restaurant: Don’t be Shellfish, share your oysters! Even though I have to say that I’m only Shellfish when it comes to Avo toast OR my new favorite green drink.

I was wearing a dress by the super talented Silvia Tcherassi, my all day everyday favorite sneakers by Roger Vivier and my loyal summer season companion: the Rejina Pyo bag. I was wearing it during an event where I met Kate Bosworth and she asked me about this bag – So it must be a good one, right? From now on I try to upload as many outfits as possible and I try to post daily – Let’s see how this turns out.;) xx Leonie

    Ahhh! I’m so happy to hear the weather turned out to be great for your stay. I just don’t get what is with he weather people lately. It said it was going to thunder and rain terribly on Saturday and there was not a cloud in the sky! Matchabar is also a great café to stop off at whether you’re a matcha lover or not. It’s super refreshing, especially on a hot day with tons of biking. Just yesterday I went to the café “Maman” in soho and I would really recommend stopping by next time you’re there. Everything is very aesthetically pleasing and the food is terrific. They take classic food such as waffles and put a twist on it such as making lavender waffles. Another good spot, which is not food, is a nail salon called Paintbox! Have you been there? They are on the more pricey side but they do fabulous looks and can do a great design. All of which is very stylish, minimal and curated for the season. The whole experience is great. Have a lovely week 🙂

    New York is so beautiful! I´ve been there yeears ago, but really wanna go again!
    So you packed that summerdress even though it was supposed to rain, because you were hopping it would be sunny anyways ? ´Cause that´s totally what I would do 😀
