Hi loves! I know so many of us have been staying home for weeks now and occasionally we can have low-energy days, even though we are doing our best to stay safe <3. That’s totally normal! Sometimes, the best form of self-care is to just curl up on the sofa and relax in front of a great film. So to give you a few ideas on what to watch here are a few of my favourite movies – all with a fashion theme, of course!

Breakfast at Tiffany’s
There is no doubt about it, Holly Golightly is an icon. The statement jewellery, the trademark dark sunglasses and the elbow-length gloves, she’s just so chic. But nothing will ever beat the beautiful black dress designed by Hubert de Givenchy himself, specifically for Audrey Hepburn’s character. C’est magnifique!
Clueless
Clueless transports me right back to the 90s and I’ll probably watch it at least 7 more times before quarantine is over! Cher is so forward-thinking with her wardrobe ‘app’, no wonder she has so many amazing outfits! And yes, I’m talking about the plaid skirt suits and the Calvin Klein dresses ;).
The Devil Wears Prada
This movie always makes me laugh because it shows you a little of the crazy side of the fashion industry, as well as how hard people work. Plus, I love it when Andy (Anne Hathaway) gets her makeover, those over-the-knee boots and all the Chanel accessories are a dream come true!
Crazy Rich Asians
This romantic comedy will definitely lift your spirits. It’s super funny, super decadent and will show you a side to Singapore you’ve probably never seen. I mostly love how they show how the modern side of couture. Yes, couture looks can be traditional, but that doesn’t mean they can’t also be modern and fabulous.
The Great Gatsby
Another glamorous option for you, because who wouldn’t want Daisy Buchanan’s selection of sparkling dresses?! This particular movie is very fashion-focussed, showing the best of the 1920s. But that’s not all. It also has romance, mystery and drama to keep you entertained during these strange quarantine times.
Who has your favourite style out of these movies? Mine is definitely Cher from Clueless! <3
Uhh you are missing some good ones..you are sooo lucky if you haven’t seen them..
Obviously funny face or Sabrina from Audrey
And any katherine Hepburn.. really funny “bringing up baby” , “woman of the year” or “Adam’s Rib”…
All of them with the super cool blazers style And silk dresses you wear..
If I were you I will see all the Katherine movies and the billy Wilder ones (director) great fun!
Ughh thanky love – Putting it on my list – Maybe even watching one of them tonight <3
Thank you so much! Going to see them all!
Yeeeah – Now is the time <3
