As the lockdown in Germany looks like it will continue for a while, I’ve been more inspired than ever to keep my brain motivated and wanted to start a brand new trend report feature to share with you for the upcoming season. Whether you’re into following trends or make it your own, I hope you will find these useful!
The first trend I wanted to focus on is relaxed workwear, especially as some parts of the world are starting to think about getting back to the office. The secret to on-trend relaxed workwear dressing is combining smart pieces such as a tailored blazer and dressing it down with pieces like jeans or trainers, for an effortlessly put-together look.

I love to pair an oversized blazer like my Attico green blazer with leather pants or jeans for elevated and chic easy style. If you need some denim inspiration, one of my fave brands is AGolde as they have some of the best balloon-shaped jeans.

Depending on your dress code for work, there is almost always a way for you to incorporate trendy pieces into your office attire. For a more formal setting, I can’t stress the importance of having at least one really good structured blazer in your wardrobe, like this gorgeous one from The Frankie shop with amazing statement shoulders. Another blazer that is iconic is the Balenciaga hourglass blazer!
Just remember to balance your look. If I go oversized on top, I tend to go for more fitted pants so everything is in proportion. For a more relaxed office environment, you could try these The Row shorts or Remain leather trousers. Leather is so great to wear to the office as it makes for the perfect transition from day to night dressing, without any major changes needed!

When it comes to accessories, I always feel you have more freedom to experiment with colours and styles. Tote bags like this large one from Boyy are perfect as there is so much room for essentials like your laptop. If you prefer crossbody bags then I recommend trying the new Valentino Roman stud bag, as it also has a top handle, or the classic Bottega Pouch. For something super quirk, check out this Louis Vuitton Flask for your coffee pick me ups :p.
Shoe-wise, opt for closed-toe heels like these Aquazurra heels – I love the mesh detail on these. Comfy sneakers like the Valentino trainers are also essential if you are running around town or in those summer months go for strappy sandals if you can. These Proenza Schouler sandals are fab because they are also slightly cushioned – so super comfy!
I’ve put together lots of pieces that I think you guys will love and perfectly reflect the relaxed workwear trend this season!
