Tokyo has been on top of my dream destinations for so long and I absolutely loved finally being here! We were so active during our time here and discovered lots of amazing cafes and restaurants which I will share more about in another post but this city really is a foodie’s dream! Luckily, we managed to catch the cherry blossom season which made our visit even more special as the blossoms were so pretty and it was really lovely seeing so many people come together to experience the magic. We also visited a few iconic hotspots like the famous Shibuya crossing – I could never have imagined just how busy it is in real life and it was fun to witness the organised chaos in person!
Most of my luggage space was taken up by coats so I had to go light on the rest of my packing and actually enjoyed creating a capsule travel wardrobe for this trip, keeping the colour palette fairly neutral so that I could mix and match what I brought with me. I also wanted to ensure that all outfits would fit well with city life on the go as I knew that we would be walking around a lot and trying to fit in as much as possible for the short time that we stayed. My city wardrobe essentials included this beige double-breasted Wardrobe NYC coat, my Saint Laurent box bag that I’ve been taking everywhere with me lately, comfy but stylish New Balance trainers, and oversized Petar Petrov leather pants which are really versatile styling wise.
Below you can find all my Tokyo outfits and I linked al the items I was able to find online! Hope you enjoy browsing through them, xx Leonie
