To travel is to live

I once read this one phrase: Traveling is like dreaming with open eyes.

And I can totally relate to it! Most of the time my family and I travelled to Spain, Italy and Portugal during school. When I graduated I’ve never left Europe! Before my study period started I had some spare time and bought a ticket around the world! The memories I have from exploring all these awesome places are unbelievable valuable! Ever since I try to travel as much as possible! Still, there are places that I love to return every now and then, especially Thailand! The food, the people, the culture – Thailand is my happiness place! Die Sache mit dem Reisen… bis zum Abitur habe ich Europa noch nie verlassen. Mit meiner Family ging es immer wieder im Sommer nach Italien, Spanien oder Portugal und unsere gemeinsamen Urlaube haben mir immer super gefallen. Nach dem Abi habe ich dann aber ein wenig Zeit gehabt bevor mein duales Studium los ging und habe mir ein Around-The-World Ticket gekauft. Vorher war ich noch nie in Amerika oder Asien und plötzlich waren wir in New York, Los Angeles, Fiji, Auckland, Sydney,Melbourne, Singapur, Ho-Shi-Minh-City, Bangkok und Koh Samui. Diese Reise und die Erinnerungen an jeden einzelnen Ort sind wahrscheinlich der wertvollste Schatz, den es gibt! Seitdem versuche ich so oft es möglich ist neue Orte zu erkunden oder Lieblingsorte weiter zu erkunden. Entsprechend war ich von der KLM Dream Destinations Aktion begeistert, bei der es viele der schönsten Ziele für einen wirklich guten Preis gibt! Da Alex und ich sehr wenig Pause machen und sehr viel arbeiten, haben wir uns für einen tollem Ort entschieden, wo es auch im Hebst / Winter reichlich Sonne gibt! Für uns geht es daher nach Asien! Über Vietnam möchte ich mal wieder nach Thailand! Ich war mittlerweile schon vier Mal in Thailand, aber für mich ist das irgendwie mein Happyness Ort!
