Monday Update #55

Hi hi, my loves, let’s quickly wrap up these last exciting days in Italy! <3

R E V I E W:

I started the week in Cinque Terre, Italy, to shoot for an upcoming project with Furla. It’s still secret so I can’t tell you more, but it’s been so much fun and I loved the new collection! Below you can already spot one of the bags and I think it’s a super cute design!

Alex and I decided to stay in Riomaggiore for the first nights. I love staying in the center and as Cinque Terre is very limited in terms of accommodation we were happy when finding a little apartment just next to the small harbor of Riomaggiore From the harbor it’s only a short walk to the train station which brings you to the other four villages of Cinque Terre in just a few minutes! BUT I don’t want to tell you too much, because I will definitely write a Cinque Terre travel guide and I don’t want to repeat myself too much! 😉

The first three days we spent shooting for Furla and afterwards, we moved to Monterosso al Mare. Even though I love Riomaggiore, I was happy to move places since Monterosso is the only village with a real beach and I love being close to the sea! Also the beach of Monterosso is super cute with all its colorful umbrellas! As I love the rustic charm of Cinque Terre we spent a lot of time exploring and been super exhausted of the end of our stay! After Cinque Terre we had scheduled two days of meetings in Milano and as it’s a 3,5 hours drive, we spontaneously decided to leave Cinque Terre a day earlier to get a night of good sleep before starting our productive days in Milan. Also I have to admit that I was missing fresh and healthy food a little. As Cinque Terre is known for amazing seafood, I missed some veggie options after a few days! And my carry-on full of avocados was already empty! 😛 Not all my avos survived the almost four hour drive from the airport to Cinque Terre.

 

P L A N S:

Alex and I realized that we’ve been constantly working for the last months and decided to take some days at home to organize ourselves and to plan an actual holiday (which is so hard, because when working self-employed in the digital field you can work EVERYWHERE), but I guess it’s about time for something tropical! Also it’s my birthday at the 31st of July and it’s a long tradition that Alex and I plan something fun and special for my day!

In the end of the week I’ll be heading to the Hamptons with Revolve which will be a lot of fun! You might remember that I’ve already attended Revolve Festival during Coachella and now I can’t wait to meet everyone again in the Hamptons! Afterwards the Mister and I will go to LA for a few meetings before heading back to Europe for my biiiirthady! <3

 

N E W  I N:

I just unwrapped a package from Tory Burch and I’m in love with the prints of the new collection! My favorite is the Amita maxi dress and the Sawyer bag – Which might be pretty cool for that place Alex and I are planning to spend my birthday! 🙂 I also ordered new sunnies at Mister Spex. As I mostly wear my huge Chloé ones and a basic pair of Ray Ban, I decided to invest in new, fun Chloé ones (also because I lost a similar par and been so sad about it!) and I ordered a fun, retro pair of Ray Ban sunnies! Aaaand I’m super excited about my latest Mytheresa order. I found the cutest Aquazzura flats and a Self Portrait dress which has been on my wishlist for so long!

    Italy just has so many beautiful places to discover that its so hard to visit all of them. We were too tired to make it to Cinque Terre last time (though we were just 1 hour away!) but it is for sure at the top of my list for next time so I cant wait to read your travel guide! Thank you Leonie for introducing me to Monterosso -also added to the list!

    Hi babe, I can totally feel you! After exploring Cinque Terre we’ve been dead! And I almost felt a little ashamed admitting it, but there was so much to see and soo many hikes and afterwards we felt really for a holiday! 😛 <3

    Ich bin schon so gespannt auf deine Revolve Outfits!
    Beim Anschauen deiner wunderschönen Bilder möchte ich am liebsten kurz schnipsen und “zack” in Italien am Strand liegen und die Dolce Vita genießen… Meine Zeit in Cinque Terre habe ich auch soo unglaublich schön in Erinnerung*-*
