Christmas in Paris ’17

As Paris is one of my favorite places in the world, especially during Xmas season (see last year’s Christmas break in Paris post: here), I was happy to return to Paris for a project with Artdeco. It was a bit of a bad timing, because my throat felt a little itchy and as soon as I arrived in Paris I was completely sick – I even had fever! As I had a very special day with Artdeco and the winner of a one day meet and greet, I made it out of bed for the day and afterwards, I was even more sick. On the one hand it was such a bad timing because I was so looking forward to be in Paris during Christmas season, but on the other hand I teamed up with two of the most charming hotels and, therefore, I could at least enjoy my hotel room to the max. ;P First, we stayed at the beautiful ‘Le Meurice‘ which reminded me of the breathtaking ‘Palace of Versailles’. Afterwards we headed back to my favorite hotel in the world: Hôtel Plaza Athénée. As I’m watching Gossip Girl at the moment I recently discovered that not only SATC was filmed at Hôtel Plaza Athénée but also Gossip Girl! I loved coming back to The Hôtel Plaza Athénée because the hotel even gets more magical during this tim of the year! They close the restaurant in the courtyard and have an ice skating rink instead. After being sick for days, Alex and I rented ice skating shoes on our last night and drove around, having the whole ice skating rink for ourselves! Such an amazing experience! When I felt a little better on our last day, we walked around Paris, looking at all the Christmass decorations… Staying at The Hôtel Plaza Athénée we lived directly across the street of boutiques such as Dior and Louis Vuitton and their Christmas decoration was just too beautiful!     Advent in Paris muss der absolute Traum sein *-* Die Stadt ist so schon wunderschön mit ihren ganzen Lichtern, aber zu Weihnachtszeit ist es wirklich nochmal schöner und richtig weihnachtlich <3
    All deine Outfits gefallen mir richtig dolle gut, ich liebe es, dass du so viele wunderschöne Mäntel trägst! Mäntel sind einfach so schön <3

    Hi! I’ve love looking at your photos and would like to upgrade the quality of my photos to something a little more polished yet still fun lol – What lens and camera do you use to take your pictures? I’m have a DSLR but my lens isn’t very good and I hear people recommend the 50mm but it seems impossible to shoot with when out and about. Thanks!

    was gibt es Schönerest als Paris zur Weihnachtszeit. Ich kann mich noch gut daran erinnern, als mir meine Eltern diese Reise zu meinem 16. Geburtstag geschenkt haben. Es war meine erstens Mal in Paris und dann noch zur Weihnachtszeit. Himmlisch!
