Happy Friday loves! It’s a bank holiday weekend in the UK, so Alex and I are planning to have a productive few days, mixed in with some rest (hopefully ;)). We also have our last Covid test and then will be free to explore London again which makes me so happy!
This Friday I wanted to put together a really relaxed, throw-on kind of look and The Frankie shop epitomises this vibe so much so I’ve styled a simple grey sweater and pants set. In my opinion, you can never have too many basics in your wardrobe as they always come in handy for relaxing at home, street style looks, activewear and even on holiday (whenever that may be). I also really liked this unusual neckline detail on this The Frankie Shop top. Imagine pairing it with a cool statement blazer, I’m thinking orange would look so fresh and fun.
I very recently got this Bottega Pistachio bag which is the perfect summer accessory and might even turn out to be the new season basket ‘It’ bag! So of course, when I saw the matching flat padded sandals, I had to share them with you! Check out these great satin slides alternative too from Emme Parsons. I usually prefer minimal gold jewellery but there is something about this Bea Bongiasca ring that caught my eye – I think it’s super fun and quirky and quite easy to incorporate and stack with your everyday jewellery.
I mentioned in my Monday update that I was looking for some interior inspo to add to our apartment, (please do keep the recommendations coming in, I love to hear what you guys are thinking!). For me, scent is such an important feature in a home and can really set the mood and tone. Diptyque candles are always so good for their scents and their burn time is great as the aromas will last for hours after you’ve burnt them. I’ve gone for the ‘Figuier’ scent but they’re all divine so it was a tough choice!
