The best thing about my job is when I get to work and explore a new place at the same time! Luckily, that was the case during our Folli Follie trip that took as to the beautiful island of Spetses among other places. What I love about visiting Greece in spring or early summer is that it is warm but not so warm that all the vegetation dries up. Therefore, the beautiful architecture is often adorned with a sea of flowers! (And also there are less tourists there, needless to say ;)) On my way to a Folli Follie shooting, I passed this location that had it all: architecture and flowers! I fell for the place immediately and we decided to shoot an outfit post there!

Since we were in Greece and as a general rule I like to dress for the occasion, I am wearing shades of blue and white. The cute white Folli Follie bag and the blue Folli Follie watch that I combined with Folli Follie jewelry was only the beginning! I am wearing my favorite Greece dress from Rails that reminds me of all the blue and white flags hanging in front of many of the houses in Greece. Especially on Mykonos and Santorini most of the houses are white and the blue of the flags, some roofs and some door and window frames are the only color competing with the blue of the ocean. Also, to stick with the color palette, I am wearing my Gucci slippers. When we were done shooting here we continued our walk through Spetses! We spent one night on Spetses but I can tell you: I could have stayed for a week! What I saw of the island was so beautiful and I am sure there is so much more to see! xx Leonie

Das Schönste an unserem Job ist, wenn man die Arbeit mit der Erkundung neuer Orte verbinden kann! Und so hat mich mein Trip mit Folli Follie auf die wunderschöne Insel Spetses geführt. Das Gute daran, wenn man Griechenland im Frühling oder Frühsommer besucht, ist, dass es zwar schon wohlig warm ist, aber die wunderschöne Architektur noch von Meeren aus Blumen verziert ist! (Die reduzierte Touristenzahl ist natürlich auch ein Bonus. ;)). Auf dem Weg zu einem Folli Follie Shooting auf Spetses bin ich an einem solchen Ort vorbeigekommen, der beides hat – Architektur und Blumen – und habe mich sofort verliebt! Dort sind auch die heutigen Bilder entstanden!
Passend zu Griechenland trage ich auf den Bildern vor allem Blau- und Weißtöne! Die süße weiße Folli Follie Tasche und die blaue Folli Follie Uhr, die ich mit Folli Follie Schmuck ergänzt habe, sind da nur der Anfang! Ich trage eins meiner liiiiiebsten Griechenlandkleider: ein neues blau-weißes Sommerkleid von Rails, das einfach Griechenland schreit und mich an die blau-weißen Flaggen erinnert, die hier vor so vielen Häusern im Wind wehen. Sowohl Mykonos als auch Santorini zum Beispiel sind eigentlich komplett in weiß gehalten und das blau der Flaggen, mancher Dächer, Türen- und Fensterrahmen wetteifert hier mit dem Meer. Im Farbschema habe ich das Outfit mit meinen geliebten Gucci Slippern kombiniert. Nachdem wir die Fotos geschossen hatten, ging es auch schon weiter auf Erkundungstour durch Spetses! Wir haben eine Nacht auf Spetses verbracht, aber ich hätte gerne noch viel länger die schöne Insel erforscht, denn die Ecken, die ich zu sehen bekommen habe, waren alle super, super süß und davon gibt es sicherlich noch viel mehr! xx Leonie
